How To Sound Design Scary Atmospheres (using Vital)

In this sound design tutorial we'll create a scary atmosphere with a lot of movement. This could be useful for any horror-type projects where you might need an interesting eerie background atmosphere.
For this one I'm using low-pitched wavetables to create a lot of movement, which then gets pushed through various effects, especially compression to bring out the details and reverb to wash the sound out.
I'm using the free soft synth Vital but you can get similar results with other synthesizers by applying the techniques I'm using here.
