My family have had a 1949 tea 20 all of my life, I am now 71. The Ferguson and the Ford in this video were great little tractors, I still have the tea 20. There is no way I would trust the hydraulics to keep the tractor up, it’s extremely dangerous and most of these hydraulics sink to a certain extent, if the tractor was left with the wheels off it it could be on the ground the next morning it’s a crazy invention a Jack and blocks are much safer.
My dad used one of these for years to change wheel width front and back for potato row crop work, (TEA 20 about 53) . Worked perfectly and never dropped ever, very quick and efficient, the one we had didn’t have a chain though and wasn’t exactly like the front Jack in the film, but same idea.
I have 2 of the rear jacks. I need to make the loop for the front. I see you posted the plans in the description for everyone👍

Good point but i'd still use the ferguson jack to lift it and then put blocks.. better safe than sorry eh.
