This is a much-needed discussion. I am a 52 yo Sjogren's patient in the throes of menopause and I feel like my hormones and Sjogren's play off each other. No doctors have been able to give me any definitive answers about the role of menopause and how it affects Sjogren's. I wear a HRT patch and it definitely helps with reduced hot flashes, vag dryness, and evens out mood swings. Great topic. Thank you!
Such a great insight of menopause and its down the road side effects. I have many patients who are afraid of taking HRT because of risk of cancer and continue to suffer due to dryness, arthritis etc. This a good topic to discuss with them to improve their symptoms and quality of their life.
Thank you so much to both of you! ❤
I am 61 and refused to take hormone replacement because of the risks. I developed RA shortly after menopause. Is there anything I can do now. Menopause is probably over for me. I’m willing to try anything, preferably natural therapy, anything to help fight the pain of RA🥲
Great discussion!
I'm post thyroidectomy. One month after I lost menstruation. After 4 mos suffered frozen shoulders 6mos apart left&right shoulders. Two mos ago had DEXA found out I''m osteopenic. I suspect my TSH suppression Levothyroxine accelerates my bone loss. Treating my thyroid creates another problem to my bones making it worse I'm officially menopause If I don't menstruate in 2mos. But I'll be okay I know. Just have to make a close follow up w/ my Rheuma, Endo & OB.💙
Keep up the good spirit!
I’m on Levithyroxine, in your experience did it affect your bones?
@@Zancity6666 I think so but there are other factors for bone loss like if u're menopause, thin bones/body frame like me, race. If u're using it for long term it'll contribute to boneloss.
Please also make videos on rheumatic arthritis and anclosing spondylitis and autoimmune diseases and the effects of drug use on male genitals
Excellent video, thanks so much to you both.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks! She will be my Doctor ! Dr.Prabakar

I’m a 61 yr old who refused hormone therapy, I developed RA shortly during menopause. Is there any natural hormone replacement I can take now? I’m willing to try anything, it’d be better than RA pain.
thank you
I was just reading about Black Cumin seed oil for RA

It's important to address your health concerns with a healthcare professional to get the best guidance.
Wat type of blood test show yor arthrist or type of arthrist
The blood tests commonly used to diagnose arthritis include C-reactive protein (CRP) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR).
Interesting, feeling how the bloating and pain receded within approximately two months made all the difference, I simply go’ogled the latest by Tilly Strankten and her Ovarian Cyst Guide and although it really took about 10 weeks for it to totally shrink and vanish I’ve never felt so light and relaxed.
That's amazing to hear! It's great that you found relief and comfort through Tilly Strankten's Ovarian Cyst Guide.
😢
thank you
