Obviously Phillip is very busy helping make the chateau diaries at the moment, but if he wanted to I suspect he could have a successful career as an interior designer. He has a genuine passion for it and a great eye, plus he manages to have strong opinions on what he likes whilst always being pleasant and diplomatic in how he expresses them, which is an excellent trait for dealing with clients. Anyway, just a thought for the future if he ever wanted to do that.
The peach chandelier is well proportioned, attractive, and looks great with copper. Well chosen Phillip!

I love love love the peach chandelier - it makes your bathroom truly magnificent! If it is tooo bright, can you put it on a dimmer switch? Then you can have cozy mood lighting for relaxing baths, or not so jarring bathroom visits late at night. Philip has an EXCELLENT eye; that tablescaoe was gorgeous! PHILIP: please PLEASE do some tablescape short videos on your channel. We see the tables set from a distance or in little bits and I would love nothing more than to see you pan over the tables you put together with some mood music- it would be a feast for the eyes! Food or drinks optional but to see your combination of plates/chargers glassware/cutlery… And finally An official Summer Garden Party! Where is Cat? She needs to experience it too!

Dimmer light bulbs would make all the difference in the world, especially for the bath area which has no need to have harshly bright lighting.

I have to say how lovely to see Annalise she looked so lovely and to see the boys running around just made my day ... oh and yes the chandelier was just perfect for the bathroom but yes you need some lower wattage warm white bulbs in there. If one got up for a tinkle in the night those lights would knock any remaining sleep out of you.🤭🤭🤭

I must say the chandelier most certainly fits well with the bathroom theme. Everyone looked lovely for the garden party and your dress Stephanie looks stunning on you. Pavlina's haircut looked so pretty. Annalise is a wizard hair dresser and it's always great to see the boys - they are so adorable.

I have to keep going back to the point in the video where Philip's peach-colored chandelier is illuminated and enriches the bathroom's setting in the most delightful way. It pleases my soul.
Other than Phillip’s hedgehog obsession - he has impeccable taste. The bathroom looks elegant. It’s wonderful how the English and other transplants have such a lively community in France.

I just want to say how happy I am to see that Annalise is still part of the Chateau gang. So often when there is an end in a relationship there is also a split in friends as if everyone has to choose a side. It is wonderful to see that that has not happened in your fantasy chateau -land called Lelande. Also love the peach chandelier.

Stephanie you look like one of those elusive,allegorical,vision- like figures of M.Chagall's paintings in that gorgeous dress...There is a particular painting by him with a female figure that flies amidst the clouds and sort of dances with her lifetime companion wearing that exact dress...and what a lovely stroll it was that in the street market and how lovely that table was set to the minute detail!!....and what a wonderful find that chandelier was!!!Love you all!!!

I have a suggestion for your bathroom ceiling I was watching a person doing a DIY on a TV show and he used spray paint that he sprayed into a small pan and then he painted the ceiling with it with a rolling brush and it turned out like a gold ceiling it was so beautiful it’s the only way to get a metallic paint is to use the spray paint can imagine he used multiple spray cans to achieve the ceiling. It be so pretty if you could do it in a perfect colour to go with the bathtub. I like the inside colour personally. Just an idea for you!
Or you could wallpaper ceiling in gold colours like Sarah Beeney suggests in one of her latest shows
