Recently I was at a gathering where there was a lot of therapy talk, and someone asked if I saw a therapist. "Yes," I replied, "I see Stephanie twice a week." Their eyes widened, "That must cost a lot!" "No," I replied, "Her rates are very reasonable." And so they are. As always, Stephanie is the angel atop the Christmas tree of life. Cheers!

Glad that expression is still being used. My mother, born in 1925, always referred to it as having her face on. Yes, Stephanie glows, with or without make-up, though I love it when she has a swipe of retro red on her lips. I can picture her in so many different eras. She exudes joie de vivre.

@@yeli2530 nobody takes it seriously 🤣 starting with Stephanie. This said, being granted the membership of one of the confréries de taste-vin or of wine makers is something not to be taken lightly in wine mad Burgundy. And both Michael P and Stephanie are now honorary members of their confréries.

That town really does look like Belle will be popping out of the library with a book while singing a song as she goes through the market.
You should see it when the Christmas decorations are up spanning across the whole os St Vincent’s square. Sheer magic. And real. It is like these are the places Disney get their inspiration from. But people live in those medieval houses, have shops there, hold markets every week… There is a fantastic hat maker just round the corner to the left of the cathedral. My partner and I go there every time before we head back to Zimbabwe, because his 85 year old mum loooves her hats and we can get the most fabulous creations there. The couple who run the shop welcome us like old friends by now and ask how mum is. And mum loves beating all hear friends at church turning up in the latest hat from Chalon. 😆

Really tugs at my heart strings. Chalon is much like it’s sister city down the road, Macon, where I grew up. It’s been ages since I was there so the festivities, the buildings and the people all bring back memories of home. You live a magical life, Stéphanie and Philippe.BRAVO!

What a charmed life you lead. I suspect you always have. In this fast paced age it can be difficult to maintain good friends from the past and it is to your credit you have successfully managed it with Michael, Nick and Oliver to mention a few. It is a quality I admire and also your ability to be open and fully engage with life and different experiences. I am still buzzing with the imagery from ancient Egypt and her you are immersed in the pageantry and delights of French tradition. Drooling at the sight of the food.

Congratulations on becoming a Dame and Knight! Your talents are recognized by so many people. My niece in PA is not at the wine harvest this year as she has completed her PhD and work in the Vineyard. For three years she and everyone picked and partied at the harvest, and she misses it already. So I hope you and Michael do attend the festival each year to mark the occasion. 😘😘
