Christi saying how Abby treats Kendall and Nia wrong as well as Chloé, and then said how Maddie’s a good kid really shows that Christi cared about all of the kids.
People are dumb for thinking she didn’t when she constantly stood up for them, even Maddie. She just hated Abby’s favoritism and she was the ONLY one smart enough to notice how Abby’s treatment of Maddie also negatively impacted Maddie.

Watching these back they really made Christi seem so jealous and angry for no reason when in season 8 Abby admitted to sabotaging Chloe. Doesn’t matter if you love or hate her Christi was always right.
Personally I don’t think what Christi said was ever wrong . IT WAS HOW SHE SAID IT AND WHEN. she’s told Maddie to her face that she loves her and she’s not trying to make her feel bad because she knows it Abby but Melissa and Abby painted a different picture. Even in this clip she said Maddie is a good kid but you shouldn’t have taught her to lie about that competition. I just wished she said things in a different way sometimes
@@barbiella4252 Yeah, sometimes Christi did say things that come out the right way and could be easily misconstrued because people don’t really think critically about what someone is really saying. Her heart was in the right place and she was absolutely right for speaking out when the other moms stayed silent a lot of the time. She never hated Maddie, she stood up for her and was practically the ONLY one who saw and called out how Abby’s favoritism was also impacting Maddie in a negative way.
It’s awful how Abby treated Chloe. And in one episode she told Chloe to go get her eye fixed but they put an audio from a past episode over it so it didn’t sound like she said that.

I love how Mackenzie was so expressive at such a young age. When the conversation started to get uncomfortable Maddie and Kendall said "it was at the past" to shut things down and move on to another topic but Kenzie said "no I still think about it ". Ik it seems like something little but when u think about it, she was so brave to let herself be emotional and vulnerable infront of so many people, which is really hard to do especially at that age when everything feels awkward.

yeah. i also don’t think that woman (don’t know her name or if it’s the same woman, i didn’t watch these seasons) was saying holly should like her bc she’s black. i think she was just saying she thought she would feel for her and the way they were both (the daughters) being excluded & underestimated. plus they could also relate to the constant subtle racism that takes place there. only time nia got a solo was to perform some stereotype or cultural thing. i just feel like many things were simply brushed over like it was nothing when they were actually serious and not just petty drama.

Season 8 was so bad... Everybody was just hating on each other. And I still don't get why everyone was so rude to Michelle and Sarah. They didn't do anything
It was mostly scripted, Sarah only went to studio 19 for a year and Michelle was told by producers to not mention it to cause drama. Not to mention that studio 19 was a business rival AND that some of the students (Chloe and Kendall as well as others) went to studio 19 after the ALDC and Lifetime contracts were up.
I hated Season 8, Season 4 and Season 6, In S6, the Zieglers, S4, Kelly and Christi left and in S8, Stacey and Ashley became instigators
I know Abby was her meanest here I miss the og people and everyone just couldn’t stop fighting
I enjoyed season 8 during the very brief period where Abby didn’t like Michelle but everyone else stood up for her and Sarah, that was the only time they all got along and acted like a team
My favorite moms and dancers in Season 8 is Ann, Tricia, Michelle, Sarah, Hannah and Brady, my least favorite moms and dancers in Season 8 is Joanne, Ashley, Yolanda, Stacey, GiaNina, Pressley, Lilliana

It was because a lot of Abby’s ex students went to studio 19 after dance Moms. Chloe and Kendall went there, it was a rival studio in Abby’s Eyes and Sarah was only at that studio for one year. It caused a lot of drama on the show In season 8.

@Saico i mean they don’t it’s not the favouritism it’s the consequences of the favouritism constantly seeing her sister being encouraged seeing every want her to do her best the rewards and when something goes wrong she was never treated as badly and then when Mackenzie did anything it was be like Maddie at your age Maddie could do this that has a detrimental effect on a kid as she was being constantly compared to her sister and knocked down because she wasn’t what Maddie was from Abbie that is okay a coach but from your mother that’s not ok (also i know that the show was edited etc. but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen and she might not remember things like they happened but how the show showed it as she was so young and the clips are everywhere) when your being constantly compared to your sister you should be like this etc. you feel belittled you feel unimportant, insecure, unwanted and not good enough that is why you would need therapy for the years of mental abuse and you can say it’s not but that is ignorant because she always got put down.

I understand Maddie and McKenzie are sisters, but it’s terrifying how Maddie is turning into their mother Melissa. That whole thing about how Maddie just ripped Mackenzie apart like that, and Mackenzie didn’t like it at all, and how she compares herself to Maddie.
It definitely was something she shouldn’t have said, but also remember, this was a moment from years ago, when Maddie was 12 (and still in a terrible environment) lol. Their relationship is amazing now, especially after they’ve both gone to intensive therapy, and even Kenzie said she’s one of the only people that’s ever uplifted/defended her and reminded her she’s a special, deserving person.
