Adventures in Fishing Northern Virginia Rapids Goes Wrong

In this fishing travel adventure I fished a brand new river system looking for river monsters. We found some amazing fishing for the first part of the journey, but quickly found ourselves in some rough rapid sections.

It looked like fun, a nice relaxing float, catching a few fish, then the rapids had to ruin it. At least you made it through safe. Tackle and equipment can always be replaced.

I don't do kayaks at my age, but it looked like a blast before the rapids! Good results with the white grubs (always a solid choice) and I think I saw a rooster tail too! Always a good lure for multiple species!
