Erik, roads existed for decades (and in some places centuries) in this country BEFORE we became the United States.
Many of the old roads, built by loggers or traders are over top of ancient American-Indian roads... so YES it was private individuals and private industry.
And when FDR's TVA did the Interstates and Highways, it wasn't through the glory of government, it was with our taxed-labor and the debt collateralized on the backs of future generations.
You are the clueless warrior here.

The stadium was already pre-reserved for 92% capacity when they called it off because of bad weather forecasts...Fox News would've loved it if some poor souls got hit by lightning (they'd never shut up about it!).

Good for you. You can't have Communism without socialism, but socialism is not a bad thing. There are numerous countries around the globe who prosper under it. Take a look at conservatism and corporatism. Fiscally bad, but not morally. From that you get Fascism, like what Hitler ended up with. An extreme is an extreme and whether its right or left, radicalism simply leads to dictatorship. Please be a bit more observant.
