    Love how you experiment and don't know what the outcome will be but you go with it and learn from your experiments!

      I hoped, and it came out better than I could have imagined! I love being able to play with color like this

    I love how these turned out. It almost looks like a fade of colour from darker to lighter, such a nice effect, thanks!

    Love these colors so much! I've been doing a lot of pink and navy dye projects this summer.

    I love the result, it makes me think of a potion wafting towards it's intended recipient.
    Yes, you can glaze a non superwash yarn, I've done it, just not on purpose.

      I feel like I've also done it not-on-purpose. So We'll see if I can do it on purpose :D I haven't tried it yet but it is on my list!

    Beautiful ❣️ I just watched an 8 year old video of yours where you broke WV on wool roving. Decided to try it. It came out soooo beautiful! I'm going to sell it and call it Rebecca 😁 I've learned a lot about how to dye from you. You're awesome!

      @@ChemKnitsTutorials Thank you for teaching us and learning with us. And you do it with that adorable smile. My family can always tell when I'm watching your videos. I'm an avid spinner but I ruin it all in the dying process so I watch you a lot!

    It is so pretty! I have no idea what percentage my white vinegar is - all it says is contains vinegar!! Oh well - it works ok. Yes! Definitely you should try on non super wash. ❤

      Most vinegar at home is 4 or 5% acetic acid. It should say somewhere on the bottle likely. I started saying that I'm using the 5% aa vinegar because there was some discussion in the canning community about the strength changing in some brands and that makes a HUGE difference for canning. For yarn it doesn't matter as much.

    Hi, my spoonie friend. Are there any greens that would be suitable? I would love to see this experiment done with deep purple, pink and green. Take care.

    Glaze with some Green? (with blues) Does green strike fast? My brain can't "brain" today. Also, what about doing an experiment with NSW to actually see if it glazes? Im curious as most of my spinning is NSW.

    What is glazing??

    • @ChemKnitsTutorials
      @ChemKnitsTutorials  Před měsícem

      Glazing is a dyeing technique that gives a thin layer of color, it almost feels airbrushed and like you can see color underneath it.
