Quick question should we have a contract drawn with expectations ?

Hi Jessica, that's usually something you will want to agree on beforehand. That is, looking at an illustrator's portfolio will already give you a good idea what style to expect for your own illustrations. You can also request sample illustrations beforehand. And then once you both decide you're a good fit for one another, you can set up a written agreement that includes how many revisions per illustration would be included. That way, you know you can request tweaks and changes, and the illustrator knows they won't have to create 10+ revisions per illustration. I so hope this helps, Jessica!
