A SIMPLE way to IMPROVE your landscape photography PHOTOS

- I am in the highlands of Scotland as I travel up to the Isle of Skye for a few days of landscape photography. On the way I make a number of stops and shoot some great photos with my 70-200mm lens. It is a brilliant lens when you don't have time to hunt out a composition on a long hike and worked great for me on this journey.

Wonderful images, glad you braved the cold and windy conditions to capture them.
WOW!!!!! That opening sequence is breathtaking. The images that you captured are absolutely stunning.
Looking forward to the next two parts.
I like your very simple point that a long lens give you a way of finding good compositions within the scene, I intend to use this more often. Just booked one of your lakes days so looking forward to that ! Cheers - Adrian
Oh yeah, these photos are truly amazing! I like your photos, and the way you edit them. You, your photos and your videos are making me curious about England and Scotland. Thank you very much!
Great start to your trip Nigel I'm looking forward to the next video
Absolutely stunning images ... thank you Nigel for sharing this with us.
Enjoyed your description of the compositional elements in your photos and why these work to produce a strong image. A good aid for composing/evaluating photos. Cheers.
I like the way you explained your choice in composition with the mountain and cloud; very useful. Thank you 😊
I really like this one. Great pointers for what to do in the field.
Beautiful Highlands, will make an effort to visit some days. Thank you for the posting.
Lovely pictures and great information on each picture you shot. Can't wait to see you of you videos. I love how you show your printed pictures is most of your videos.
Epic intro Nigel. The reminder to plan ahead and have your camera ready for these detailed shots is a great reminder. Most of the time, my camera is closed up until I get to my destination. I've had many an occasion when I could've taken some nice images IF I had my camera ready to go. Great advice. See you soon.
Really like the shot you printed out of the mountains and the cloud. It's easy to just go wide with such amazing scenery all the time, but you definitely put a good case for zooming right in.
I am amazed you are making fantastic landscape images without a tripod!! Great.
Good points abt long lens use in landscape photography. One thing I've found it helps with is avoiding compositions that are all scene & no subject, esp when you can't zoom w your feet to better isolate a frame's main focus. Thanks for the beautifully shot vid.
I have to say your video and content are up there with the best of them. Your certainly in the top 3 Nige. Excellent stuff!
I really enjoy watching your video. The video you produced differs from others in a way that yours is not only breathtakingly beautiful but also is always explaining the composition and your thoughts about your photos. I am becoming a big fan of yours. Just ordered the calendar. I am excited.
i enjoyed watching your video, and your comments about compositions.
I enjoyed the video. The photos you came back with are beautiful! 👏👏 Looking forward to seeing the other videos from the trip Nigel!
