**NOTIFICATION SQUAD**
This summer, many festivities that could not be hold for last 2 years due to the SITUATION came back and people from all over Japan and some from the world enjoyed the atmosphere.
Watching the news, I realized I have not really covered Japanese festivities apart from Awaodori which I only practiced.
So if you have any festivities that you want me to take a part, let me know and I will cover it in the channel.
Bon Odori! Or maybe it’s a little late for that, but anyway thanks for telling us stuff than not any British you tuber can say.
See Ryotaro knows what I’m talking about. Though I kinda knew a little about the gifts. Not AMAZING clickbait tho.^_−☆
All of them please! But please any that deal with the Shinto religion
Your vids are hilarious, and really fun to watch! Way more than that grumpy chicken guy.
Your skills have improved so much! Keep up the great work!
Please consider covering the Kitakami Michinoku Geino Matsuri next August if you haven't already. And also the Goshogawara Tachineputa Matsuri. Viewers would be very grateful! どうもありがとうございます !
Thanks for the jump scare! 😄🤣
i love that ryotaro uses his largely shared audience with chris to just roast the shit out of him constantly
It's in Ryotoro's contract with Chris Broad Productions LLC: "must include one (1) reference to Chris Broad for every three (3) minutes of screentime".
Nice language! XD
W I D E S T F A C E
Absolutely same - 100% "percent" - if you know EXACTLY what I mean!?!?
That's just their version of close friendship, i guess. I think they both appreciate how lucky they are to have met each other; and they will only speak such appreciation at the other's grave...
Glad to see someone finally making good use out of Chris' expensive set! Hope he's paid you handsomely to promote it
Chris's? nah..it's Ryotaro's set now
@@LemoNanora it's Ryotaro's Japan, after all
Someone's gotta use it, right? 😂
I totally adore how Ryotaro pokes fun and is serious, "kurisu wa kao ga hiori", Chris has a wide face!😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😅
I burst when Ryotaro said "you don't have to be the fastest.... just faster than your friend" lol
That part was amazing XD and video editing is hilarious
I can't tell you how much it makes me happy to see that Chris let Ryotaro use his studio; true friendship.
It's actually the other way around
I love it where Chris asks for a recommendation an the waitress advises he should try the salad.
Same, that cracked me up, she low-key roasted him
She didnt actually say that, that's just a subtitle joke
1:11 "maybe a salad for you" made me LOL
That bear bell sounds like a dinner bell......your saying " I'm here Bear, come and chew on me buddy, I'm tasty just follow the sounds" 😂
Re bewaring black and brown bears Japan, it's really important to have a bell or wear them to let them know you're in the area. Listen to Ryotaro. The brown bears are more dangerous. If you can learn to differentiate their faeces, you'll be able to tell which one you're near. That'll help. Usually the brown bear's has bells in it.
"Osusume wa" and "omakase [insert dish or drink here]" are phrases specifically from your video with Chris I used a lot. The staff also seemed to appreciate I enjoyed their picks.
Ryotaro hitting us with an "innit" is truly a blessing
I love how you troll Chris, I would love to see more.
"Ryotaro's Guide to Dating Japanese Bears", got it, boss!
I think I’ve been to this ramen shop! British guy owns it, yeh? 😂😂😂😂😂👍
Is it just me or does Ryotaro look right at home in Chris studio?
Yeah, I didn't even notice anything wrong with him being in the studio until he pointed it out!
I love how Ryotaro's odd numbers are all even numbers
I always look forward to your videos, Ryotaro!
Thank you for all the helpful tips, can’t wait to order off the paper menu
4:03 is such a hilarious image! LOL "You don't need to be faster than the bear, you just need to be faster than your friends!" lol that's some super dark humor. I love your editing style and how you make learning things about Japan funny and entertaining
Holy wow. This was HIGHLY entertaining and awesome! Way to go Ryotaro! Hopefully I can use some of this someday when I can travel to Japan!
Best Ryotaro advise!
Ryotaro here again with incredible entertainment!
Your videos are so entertaining lol. Love it!
Anyhow, good to see you again Ryotaro!
めっちゃ面白かったです!いつも楽しみしてます!
The most amazing thing here is Ryotaro really does praise Chris! 8:48!
This video is hilarious ! I'm glad I subscribed to this channel.
Chris seemed to forgot keys when he left for Okinawa and Ryotaro knew what to do. As anime watcher this wedding money was no surprise and same goes to the flowers. But くま part was nice. Of course, story about bears always brings me Silver Fang old anime flashback.
Editing is on point 👍👍👍
The shade-throwing at other videos is fantastic. “Did you know they like rice” 😂😂😂
Thank you for the entertaining list, and I'd love to see you cover Tenjin Matsuri
This was really cool!
I got fooled twice - thought was a video about bears, then thought it was about common travel tips, but i got hooked around 1:30. Loved the script and editing!
There's no bears where I live, so I can't practice. But if I ever visit Japan, I'll try and go out on a group date with them for sure.
So good of you to support Chris' failing Ramen shop
Holy crap! He's teaching us Japanese again! Haha!
Love the video!! Can't wait for more!
Nice video and keep up the good work 👍
Great video. I love your British sense of humour.
I love the opening credit, reminds me of the the movies from the good old 80’s!
That small face picture is hilarious! 😆😆😆😆
Great video with some excellent humour peppered throughout. Ps. You're looking better in Chris' studio than he does
The William Shakesbear cameo was inspiring
i love your editing
Handy tips if Japan ever re-opens to us mug tourists again 😂 I've often used "omakase" when we have no clue what is on the menu but these other phrases will be very handy. Thanks! Over a number of trips to Japan we've often been given fruit as gifts - mostly to our kids - and sometimes by random strangers on the street. It is very gracious and welcoming and very much appreciated. So far nothing from bears. We're yet to see a live bear in the wild in Japan although we did enjoy a lovely bear soup in Gunma once 😐😂 To be honest we didn't know beforehand that it was bear.... which brings us back to "omakase" 😂😂😂
How cool, you have a channel! Congrats! Subbed.😊
Hahaha! Your intro! Classic! I love that movie.
Umm......pretty sure those wedding payment values are even and can still be divided by 2 :P
Love your new studio ryotaro!
Yeah I think the same set is used by Cristoff on the Offboard Japan channel 🤔
@@larsstougaard7097 donnu fam, christian broadface studio is very tacky and cheap looking, would probably fall apart in an earthquake
@@AttiliusRex ha ha , it has been through an earthquake and it did only fall a little apart. I like it 👌
5:52 So by "even" you only mean the first digit? Because 30k and 50k are even numbers.
Fun fact: in Chinese culture even is lucky because we have an expression of "good things happen in double." In fact, an odd number would be taboo at weddings because odd numbers are reserved for funerals (e.g. $501).
It seems so, ...you want to prominently feature an odd integer rather than an even one, but it's not about whipping out a calculator or whatnot. :)
Yes! In Japan we have a 10,000 yen note that you use to pay at weddings - so by even I mean can't be divided evenly in those notes
_SteveL points out that 30k is an even number_
_Japanese divorce rate triples_
I laughing so much when you talking about bears and then when you said about running faster than Chris if you see a bear was so funny. It’s so like uk humour, we are very sarcastic especially in the north of England
I was going to do some work while just listening to this but I couldn't because it was so funny that it required all of my attention. I had to watch it a second time to read everything I missed the first time because I was laughing so much🙂🌼
He tried to hide them under a false rock again. 🤣 Thanks for another great video Ryotoro. 😊
Ryotaro...your English sense of humor has evolved to new heights!
The "I want a divorce meme" killed me lol.
Looove that intro 😂😂😂😂
The small face clip killed me, trying to subtly watch this at work and was not expecting to snort laugh! 😂
Hey Ryotaro, question for the intro… How soon? 😳😂 Do we know? I will call the Japanese Embassy in Montréal. I was planning to visit my friend in Sendai this October but I lost hope this week. It’s so hard to keep track and plan everything without the certainty of a Visa. I can’t wait to go back. I wanted to visit your Restaurant too!
3:08 I didn't know I needed this in my life.
Awesome video
me and 5 friends are planning to go July next year ! we are all teachers and this would be a perfect time to go there . hopefully it opens up by then ! crossing fingers !
Well done, Ryotaro, well done!
Great vid
Can't wait to watch this, love your videos!
Your videos are always so well edited ^^
Love this video Ryotaro!!!! Very fun and engaging and the editing is great!
Ryotaro san! I started learning Japanese but I'll quit now :'-) Thank you so much for the funny and helpful video!
Never knew I needed to know this, but now I do and I’m not mad! Nice one Ryotaro!😆
Dingus!
Thanks for being the first CZcamsr I've heard use that word, Ryotaro.
I always thought Ryotaro was British, what gives? (Another awesome video mate!)
That Bruce Lee clip is so funny
Lol I hope he really did steal Chris' keys 😆
NEED to know huh? Interesting choice of things for a need to know list 😂- hehe you said halfway through that you picked some different things than most people pick for a list, which is a GREAT idea, but you don't say the premise is that until halfway through! Say it at the beginning and people won't be surprised when you're talking about bears hahaha. Still, a great video that I enjoyed very much, nice work Ryotaro!
LMAO the editing takes this to a whole other level
Hilarious, interesting & useful
Top post. Very funny. I am genuinely made up when he posts something. 🙂
Epic editing!
Also, kiwi is delicious. The fruit, not the people. I havn't tried eating them.
_Yet_
Drunk Ryotaro makes the best videos!
Chris is definitely the one behind the camera and also editing these
Small face Ryotaro was the most funny thing Ive ever seen🤣
"When you want to find love in Japan, ask your local city office."
Winner.
That salad caption was fairly savage!
I love the editing in your videos xD I'm always laughing.
"Whats good today"
"Maybe try a salad"
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Poor Chris
due to prices, overflow and what not, I will come to Tokio in spring 2024, can't wait to see it
I can see teaching Japanese could become your next big venture!
Many funny parts!
'beware of bears'
Me who grew up on bear country, tell me something I don't know, nothing is more terrifying then a grizzly barreling down towards you.
I would literally shìt my pants.
"Let's not horrific death!". You know what, Ryotaro? You're a pretty funny dude :)
I want "Let's not horrific death!" on a cap from the hundred yen store!
@@RS250Squid Yeah I kinda want that on a neon sign in my room xD
3:08 that's so funny 🤣
It is 6:47 am, and I'm watching this before I go to work; a good decision since I'm starting the day with laughter. :) "William Shakesbear?!" Ryotaro! ^o^
That Ramen shop looks very familiar... mmmm just can't put my finger on where I've seen it before. Hopefully Abroad in Japan can help.
speaking of hiking and bears i would love to see you colab with quinlan from go north japan
I would give a prime number for the wedding gift. Like 50021 is prime, it's even more indivisible than any random odd number.
Better content than Chris’
😂😂😂😂
Keep it going Ryotaro!!
this was funny i liked it
Thank you for increasing my fear of bears x10, Ryotaro 😅
"What do you recommend?"
"Maybe a salad for you"
*"...that's rough, buddy"*
But yes I agree that before you go anywhere, you try to learn at least the basic phrases of the native language of the place you're visiting. I visited Puerto Rico when I was eight, and even though I'm Latino, English was my first language and I didn't really take Spanish seriously until middle school. So I used Puerto Rico as an opportunity to tweak my Spanish. For every new language you learn, you open doors to new worlds of those cultures
Yep bears are no joke. I saw two here in Shizukuishi, Iwate last week out in the countryside. They were very chill though. But I always carry an air horn and pepper spray just in case during adventures.
Asking what is recommended only works if you can eat everything on the menu!
A serious video you could do: how to eat in Japan with serious food allergies.
Chrysanthemums are also considered grave flowers in Europe. Don't give them as gifts.
