Not knowing what you started with after the Reforge on turn 3, I think the line with the Matron to get Engineer was right, but binning Cloudstone might have been the better play since it sets up bouncing Matron for Dockside into infinite. Didn’t matter because of the By Force, but hey, you lived your best Golem life and I couldn’t have asked for more 🥰

Hey, I love the games. I feel for you, Jim. I feel like I have a ton of decks that I am trying to figure out a tight combo, and just can't figure out how to get there. What did that feel like in the moment? Do you think it was deck building choices or play pattern? It seems like in the videos you guys do, everyone seems to know the lines to win with food chain. Is it just because that is an old and well trod combo, and other newer or less well known combos require tighter play, or some other reason?

did jim have the ability to put squee on the bottom? in resp to the food chain?
There's no point during the combo where Squee is on the battlefield and Jim has priority to act, unfortunately. After Squee resolves and the stack is empty, Jan has priority because he is the active player. He exiles Squee as part Food Chain's mana ability and doesn't have to pass priority until he recasts Squee.
