That "black triangle" on the nose is anti-glare paint. You definitely don't want the sun blinding you on a bright day when you've got tens of thousands of tons of train behind you.

Then I have a CNN rolling cart it's a I can't tell you what it but it does have a coupler like what's on the front that chain that CP train I have the same coupling system for each I actually have a little bit of train track but it's not too much I have a bachman controller it's a I have a bachman controller and it's a gray box with forts and back on it and that's all I use plus two paper clips to taking power of the rail I did not have the crossing or anything it does run it does move but one of the trains is that green steam I just knew that axle out it's not from the actual and I want to know if I can find a place it can repair those because those are hard as hell to get back in the training if you guys send me your address I can take and send the train to you for you guys most of the chains are missing parts or another is the engine works for all three trains I have the train car is actually work but missing some Wheels

As for the real 9658 it has been rebuilt into a AC4400CWM and renumbered to 8174.

Legally, per DOT and CSA, you are required to provide a place to equip a placard. Coveres hoppers rarely have this, but they should
Cars, trailers and containers that don’t transport hazmat aren’t required to have placard holders

Again there is no DOT requirement for a car, trailer or container to be equipped with a placard holder. The regulation only states that when carrying a reportable quantity of a HM substance the placard must be displayed on all 4 sides. How many rail cars other than tank cars do you see with placard frames? Very few. Very few.
@@wmg33 I have no idea where you're at, but every single car I see has a *place to put* a placard. But like you said, *they only wear placards if they're carrying reportable quantities of hazardous substances, and the reportable amount is 2,000 lbs, or 1 ton*

My man. I have photographed tens of thousands of rail cars. Generally you’re not going to see a placard holder on anything other than a tank car.

Nose mounted number boards aren’t that rare. Many are found on older CSX AC44s, several UP AC44s plus the CNW ones, UP AC6000s, CEFX AC44s, CSX AC6000s, SD60M Triclops, F59PH, SD90 and 9043MACs, CSX C40-8Ws, Conrail/NS C40-8Ws, CSX ES40DCs, older CP GEVOs, CNW/UP Dash 9s, and many other variants in other counties.
Before you know it, you’ll have a big train set
