your casts are amazing, the way you analyze and describe the thought process of each of the players and their little actions provide so much insight with regards to how the strategies of the game have evolved and will evolve. It's both entertaining and incredibly informative not just for an average watcher, but for players and developers as well. sincerely love your work, please never stop making content.
It's crazy, being new to Starcraft I love watching the game with the pro Caster, but cause @lowkoTV plays regularly he is aware of certain things much quicker than the Casters, which is fascinating. I can watch the same match-up twice and enjoy both for different reasons. Great stuff.
Lowko, in game 2 Serral saw with a zergling that Raynor was mining the small mineral patches in the back of the base. That triggered the response. He figured out what Raynor was doing.

it's more a "training APM spam and learning builts... bust mostly just training apm spam so you can make your units do what you want them too. more often... i mean serral lost g1 due to using the "all army hotkey" and pulling the corrupters away from the buildings... when the BEST in the world lose a match in a grand final of such a big tournament; you know how shitty the controls are and how hard it is to make them do what you want them to do ;)

The word you are looking for Serral is CONSISTENT, he doesn't have fancy strategies or crazy cheeses, but he is freakin' consistent, he never fails a step, never makes a mistake and has a response for every crazy thing that could happen... He can't be surprised. Simply amazing

I know you didnt mean to put yourself down when you said that you at some point just realise how bad you are at the game, but i stil feel urged to say that realising how much you dont know or how much youre unable to do is an important and natural part of learning and a clear sign you are getting better. Not just in Starcraft too, learning how much you have left to learn means you are deepening your understanding and are able to put your own skill and that of others into perspective better.
We should have a statue of a dancing Lowko in the middle of Disco Bloodbath! :D

As a Korean myself, it seemed that not many ppl here care for SC2 any more... Sad, but the statistics says it's true. Ppl are more into LoL (I know) as E-sport, and I don't think a lot of ppl actually watch SC2 leagues or matches that much. It's definitely downhill for Korean players at the moment. I agree with Lowko that Serral is favored this Blizzcon match.

Don't feel bad about falling asleep when watching Starcraft games. I use your video to fall asleep and this work pretty well. And when I wake up on the next morning, I watch the end of the video while eating my breakfast.
That first game was awesome! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Regarding game #2, Reynor pulled the same bluff against Serral at WCS Winter 2018 and won the series as a result. I guess he figured that Serral wouldn't believe that he'd do the same thing again, but Serral played it safe.

Ofc Serral expected this strategy in game 2, he got beat by it before in the final game vs reynor the first time he lost a grand final to him. Bound to be in his mind.

I suck playing VS but I enjoy watching these
love seeing nydus and mass static defence in SC2 (so many matches are lost because players refuse to spend the extra resources on static defence; even though EVERY match where they don't they lose Far more in drones than even 2-3 static on every base would cost; in most games that go to late game you could literally have built like 5-10 statics at Every base for the cost of the drones you lost bc you didn't.
honestly if you are not good enough to lose under 2 drones on each base throughout the entire game, majority of the time, then there is no excuse for not having a ton of static defence, as 3 drones are more expensive than building that extra spore/spine. (and the static defence will Always be worth it if you are defending, and if you are not you are winning so it doesn't matter that you used extra resources insuring your supply line)
nydus literally give you the ability to treaten and counter at any spot at under 20 seconds warning, incredibly powerful; it's the ghost+nuke in zerg version and only because of the micro involved should you Ever be late mid or late game without having a nydus continually creating openings and counter-attacks (and vs. those super ghost+nuke split maps or protoss endgame armies, nydus+20 zerglings would be amazing to backstab everything not covered by the main army and it is only a 550mineral+50gas(or so, if you lose it all) investment which guarantee a reaction or chaos in a T/P main or low defended base.
can also easily move drones when being harassed; considering the price is only like 100 resources for a nydus spawn; there is no reason to not have one at every base mineral line to almost instantly make your drones "immune" to harass (any harass, pull drones into nydus and SAFE!;
which brings next lvl micro/macro; have extra empty bases ONLY for larva and so you can evacuate drones to continue mining while the drone line at another base had to be evacuated to avoid the harass.)
it also gives you the ability to just Wall off everything you could want (Every area you could move to threaten, you can just fully wall off in static defence and throw up a nydus behind it (guaranteeing no ground counter can come and when it does you constantly have units ready to respond (all hatch->to nydus then unload when/where you need the units; and only spore needed at bases to defend vs. potential air harass; which again you could just have hydras/queens ready in nydus; to respond if your apm is high enough)
the problem of all this is that the micro is insane... i hate how strategy and tactics are completely overshadowed by apm spam... it sucks imho and is so prevalent in all rts's -.-

Random thought... if you've walled off or protected your natural, why not move most of your drones there so that as you expand you always have the minerals in your main as a reserve? I've often seen players lose because their first bases are mined out and they can't keep expansions up. Could it be worth keeping a nestegg for the lategame?
random answer: it's not generally going to work out well to discount or neglect reasonably assured gains for something that may never be leveraged. do not expose yourself to more risk than necessary when you're playing at the level they're at.

you'll look back at those days and regret not being completely present. don't try and game your life just to fit in more content, especially if that means removing yourself completely from where you're present at.

The best zergs outside of Korea? I'd go one step further and would say that they are two of the best 3 world wide. Cannot say if Reynor or Dark is second to to Serral, but these 3 are way ahead of the rest.

But seriously, the last game looked as if he was playing on the ladder and rolled an opponent 1000 mmr lower. It "looked" that easy, which is ridiculous, as it was Reynor , not some random guy...

corruptors vs mutas allways ends badly for the corruptors excluding numerical or upgrade superiority. best counter is hydras in numbers (less expensive) and/or casters.
