I don't recall if the bracket stayed the same throughout, but Killer Instinct World Cup 2017 had a system where the final bracket would be 32 players. 28 players qualified before the tournament, but the last 4 players had to come up through 4 LCQ's on the same day.

@@SneerfulWater57 so there’s a little different we were supposed to have 1 LCQ but kaz won so many tournaments that were qualifying tournaments so we ended up having 4 where it sounds like that tournament had planned to do 4 LCQs from the start
