- We upgrade the Arrma Gorgon Rc Car by putting a 3S Brushless Power system in and go bash it to see how well it holds up on the Dirt Jumps.

I bought one of these last week and immediately put a 3900 KV brushless spektrum system (100 ESC) from a typhoon in it w/ a fan. I cannot express in words accurately enough how incredibly tough and capable this is. My teenage son’s been bashing 50C, 2SLiPo’s thru it continuously at wide open throttle (34mph). Nothings broke, and the motor temp doesn’t budge. Truly the GOAT of entry level RC.
I agree, very strong truck and fun too, I given it to people who are new and drove crazy it and still holding up
Same as mine except I added the granite 14mm tires😎🥂 all stock gears and anodized aluminum ball joints and shoegooed the body with hot glue beads....also move the esc up to next mount holes...allows battery cable to come thru chassis without bending wires, arrma receiver box for gorgon too
Best upgrade is hot racing motor mount alloy and servo saver alloy if breaks
Just when I thought our Traxxas Bigfoot upgraded with a Spektrum brushless system (slap in the face to Traxxas) was the ultimate 2wd monster truck... Now we need a Gorgon.

Yea the truck holds up so well with the 3s system, Arrma should make a 3s version
3S gorgon is where its at. my body got mashed, but no parts broken still! one of the most if not most rugged RC vehicle i got!
I agree, we smashed this thing and still drives, one of my favorites go to trucks!

Super fun rc even on 2s brushed does like 26mph tuff looks amazing very light budget friendly. Armas coming up in the rc world . Cant go wrong

For the price, plus the 3s system, this thing is pretty tough. The body needs to be reinforced with some gorilla tape. Hehe. Good stuff 👍
What we all learned is the Arrma gorgon is tougher than trees, also If Arrma can make plastics so tough smacking into trees on jumps don't break them, there's no excuse for the a-arms that break so often on the 6s range
What tooth size pinion did you fit with the brushless i am fitting 18t with 3200kv similar to yours
3s pack fit good

me I liked the video, I wanted to ask what sprocket did you use, how can I look for it? I know it's m0.8, but 32p, 42p? I'm confused. I hope your help, thank you very much
So the stock setup is 61T Spur with 13T Pinion. I changed the pinion to 18T

@@FivoNine you gunna be doing any big 5 scale stuff , like Taylor stuff , I got three of them now looking for more guys to race with , they R ! THE PINNACLE OF THE rc driving experience , and the builds are intense ,and so is the power , there ABSUGULOOOOLY mental !! If we could get together some time I was gonna have you run one or two of them , I love handing the controls to guys ,it creates a giant smile everytime
@chrisryder4709 I have the Losi DbXL and it's pretty weak with stock engine, I was thinking about getting something bigger for it like the taylor engines. Last case scenario I would turn into electric but I like the gas version
Hey brother, can I ask if this Gorgon is easy to break or damage the gear? Because I plan to buy one in July.. I am just worried that it will be more prone to damage after I change the motor to a larger KV..🙏 Please share, thank you.

I just got this car runs great one problem when I charged the battery and went to run it again I’m not getting any steering. Could you please help me out I’m new to the rc world lol
Make sure the servo wire is connected and in the right slot
What battery were you running a 2s or a 3s does the Gorgon take a 3s
He got the Spektrum upgraded system that can handle the 3s but the stock esc on the gorgon can only handle 2s
