I watched another youtuber and she nearly talked me out of trying this but I noticed that she used extreme pressure and anywhere from 35 seconds to 90 seconds with her heat press and then I don't believe she let her DTF film cool down enough before peeling it off. It was a mess and she had to work hard at trying to peel it off. Thank you again for this video, love the step by step instructions you give!!!

THIS CHANGED MY SUBLIMATION LIFE!!!!!! I can't thank you enough for this!!! Everything I did turned out beautiful! Vibrant! I made things for my nieces and nephews for Christmas and just checked back to see how everything was holding up - they said they were just as good as the day they got them. My sister (their mom), said that she was surprised at how good it still looks as how most of the shirts she sees (vinyl) cracks and peels. Thank you for this! I have a question for you - have you seen the film you use available in legal size? I can't seem to find it. (Also, curing the first layer made a big difference!) Thank you again!
First time I’ve heard of doing the powder twice, great results tho! Do you go back and repress after the process is complete? I’ve seen a few do that… thanks for a great, easy to follow tutorial! ❤🇦🇺

Hey there! Yes, sublimation ink is used. I generally only work with sublimation ink in my projects, unless otherwise specified. There is a tutorial on how to work with the hack on dark colors. This is awesome, I'm going to Amazon to purchase now. I like sublimation because it's easier but who wants polyester all the time. I'm wondering can this be used on darker colors since it's technically not sublimation?
There are links and discount codes in the description 😀😀 It’s definitely useful for when you don’t want to use polyester all the time! Gives more freedom! It can be used on darks, BUT because it is still sublimation ink, it’s still translucent and won’t show up as well on dark colors.
Hey there! If you’re using sublimation ink, there is no white sublimation ink - so you will not be able to print white. You’ll either have to have some form of a white substrate for the background.

I don’t do the the second press. It wasn’t working for me. That’s when I tried the second layer and got better results. 😀

How long does it last after being washed? Can it also go in the dryer ? ☺️
My question that I have not seen in any other video is do you use the same settings as you would with the sublimation paper like the saturation ect

How is it printing white?
Some of the other videos they press the image a second time . Does adding additional adhesive make the additional press unnecessary?
I do the second layer instead of the second press. It works better for me. 😊

How does the white print on there?
There is no white sublimation ink. The shirt is white so that is where the white comes from. 😀
How does it hold up in the wash?
I have washed the shirt 1 time so far as has done well. I will be washing it a few times tomorrow to test it out!
I’ve washed one of my testers 10 times and it still looks great.
