Yes a good idea to switch it
Hi from Texas love all your videos

I love that tshirt.. do you have a link?
Hello from Pennsylvania love the coin holders too
Hello Hello so glad you love them as much as me
Please try siser easycolor dtv on black garments. We are having a hard time to find a way to print on black color. Thanks
Hi, Love this! wondered because I have a printer that only prints 8.5x14, do you think you can splice and tape to print larger like you can with regular paper? Thanks!!
Yes you can! I made a video about it in the past czcams.com/video/VzOEBXha5to/video.html
Hi! So glad to be here from Fredericksburg, TX
Thank you for participating ! ❤️
Currently working on back to school stuff for my grandkids
That is so awesome they are going to love it
I was lucky enough to grab some of the deals on Wednesday,
Question Design Bundles: The Pet Film you link is a 12x12 size. I am wondering if most people have the standard 8.5x11 sublimation printer tray. Is it possible to cut down the film size to fit the standard tray?
ALSO, As you probably know, the transfer powder you link is out of stock. Perhaps when you do videos you could link 2-3 options of where to purchase the products you are using to make it easier on your viewers. Could you suggest an alternative transfer powder as I don't want to purchase an inferior powder and Amazon states on their site that it is out of stock and they are not sure if the product will ever be available. Perhaps someone in the comments can add a comment if they have found or tried an alternative powder. thanks
Hi there! You can certainly cut it down to fit your printer needs! The powder has been coming in and out of stock, but I will look for some alternatives to share as well!
Hi Crystal...as always, learned something new from you! Question? Why didn't you use your heat press instead of Easy Press? I'm asking because I don't have an Easy Press. TY
Hi Sandy! Many of the viewers shared they were Cricut users, so we incorporated the Easy Press in but you are welcome to use whatever heat press works for you! 😊
Hi great tutorial. You said use the white powder for white/light colors and black powder for black/dark colors. Can you please do another tutorial using the black powder to that we can see the difference or any obstacles you come across.
Hi Lynda! Thank you for the suggestion! We have more videos planned using the powder, so we can definitely add that to our list of ideas!
@@DesignBundles thank you so much for your response. That would be great. Please keep the videos coming, I’m learning so much.
@@DesignBundles have you done the black powder review yet? I'd love to see it
DTF can be applied to hard substrates so I'm wondering if this method would be the same? Like applying to steel tumblers and such. TIA for your help
We haven't tried that yet, but we will certainly add that to our list of tutorials!
Hello I just ran across your tutorial Love it I have a question can you use this with the Epson eco tank sublimation ink
Hey there! Yes! You can! We use the Sawgrass printer but the Epson sublimation will get the same result! 😊
Yes
How much are the memberships? Thank you
Awesome video! Curious as to where you got that tape dispenser from 😊
Hi Sandra! You can find the tape dispense here: www.amazon.com/Heat-Tape-Dispenser-Sublimation-Semi-Automatic/dp/B09VD8QX9F - Dawn
@@DesignBundles Thank you so much!😁
So the 12 X 12 that I bought from the link has a thin piece of film on it, do you take that off or is that what will heat to the shirt? I'm confused
yes what side do we print on? on the side with the film (thats pulls away from the plastic-ish hard side) or the plastic-ish side?? im scared to run this thru my heatpress seeing that people are melting it?
Grabbed a lot from both bundles. Going to be busy this fall
Yay! make sure you share your projects over on our Facebook community group
I am using a bigger swing arm press and a sg1000. I ordered the Pet film and powder. I love the turn out but I feel like I am getting more or a jewel tone look...not bright primary colors. Should I keep the setting on Polyester even know I am using a 100% cotton fabric? Also, how long and what temp should I use with my swing arm. Thank you.
do you have yours set to Vivid? try that and I have mine set on polyester
So the powder is a hot melt powder right but no oven needed ? Is that why you used 385 temp for 40 seconds instead of the 8-10 seconds that is generally required on the DTF sheets I’ve ordered
Yes! You are exactly right! 😊
Gray
What kind of mini tablet is that? It's so cute.
So I tried to order the powder and Amazon is out of it. Is there an alternative? Or another way to purchase? Or a manufacturerer? so excited to try this. I ordered the sheets now just need the powder. Thank you for showing us this!!!!
Hi Patricia! Keep checking or ask to be notified when it's back in stock. It's been going in and out of stock on Amazon!
I can’t find the Monday video you were talking about, can you link it please? Thank you. This is exciting, I need to get these supplies!
Hi Jeri! It may be easier for you to find the video you are looking for here: czcams.com/users/DesignBundlesfeatured Each video is categorized by theme. The supplies are always listed in the description of the video as well! If you need any extra help, send an email to mail@designbundles.net and we are happy to help!
Hi I tried to find video in playlist also. Please include a link to the Monday video. Thanks so much much for the awesome tutorials
Thank you so much for the lovely video. I am wondering if I can buy a roll of the PET film to save cost. But the issue is the width of the roll is more than an A3. I have Epson 15000 for sublimation. Can I cut the film with the Cricut paper cutter to match the width of the A3? Also, it will be great if you could make a video on how to use Designscape. I am not able to get a hang of it. Thanks in advance.😊
Hi Mita! The film can certainly be cut to fit your printer as needed. We have lots of great tutorials in our DesignSchool here: designbundles.net/design-school/search?search=designscape If you have any questions, join us in a live chat through our homepage and we would be happy to answer any of your DesignScape questions.
Absolutely love this idea. However, everything is sold out of the products. Do you have a second best product to use? When you look on Amazon it's overwhelming of the stuff they have.
Hey Shellie! We've updated the PET Film here: www.143vinyl.com/12-x-12-pet-sheets-25-pack.html
Can you do a Bigger image Say like split the image and then attach back togather. And press? Hope that makes sense.
I will be putting this to the test so stay tuned
Do you not heat up the adhesive after your apply it onto the wet ink?
Hi Isamar! Are you referring to the powder? It can be applied right from the printer, and then heated directly onto the shirt. If you have any other questions, please let us know! We are here to help!
The petFilm you put a link to does not look like what you used in the video? I wanted to try this technique. TY
Hi Sandy! The One that is used in the film was out of stock frequently, but we've had just as much success with the 143 vinyl version! 😊
I am so excited to do this. Thank you. Can I use
Inkjet film positive Film for Screen Printing 8.5"x11" Clear Transparency Film Pack of 50 Sheets for Overhead Projector Transparencies and Screen Prints
Hi Tammy! Thank you for reaching out and after reading up a bit on your supplies, it sounds like what you have is more for stencils so I don't believe it would be safe to use with heat needed to transfer the design.
Can I use sublimation paper
Hello can this work with epson et8550 ? Thank you in advance love this video
Any sublimation converted printer will work :)
I'm curious if you printed the same design if the film paper stuff is reusable? I'm also curious if this works with converted printers
I don't think so but its worth the shot to try and wash one of I will test this out :)
#bronze
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat That's my thoughts too but it's another test for Design Bundles to try out. I'm one to try and get the most from my supplies. I also don't own a Sawgrass printer due to cost. Everything is so expensive right now stretch supplies as far as possible.
What was the purple tie dye shirt? Where can we get those?
Hi Maria! We made this for a previous video, but you can use any tie dye shirt! 😊
Grabbed a bunch of $1 deals both days❤️❤️
Yay!! I can't wait to see what your making :)
Thank you for watching with us! Don't forget to share your photos in the Facebook group: facebook.com/groups/1930716583871665
So will any dtf powder work for this? Amazon says not sure it will be back in stock.
Yes, the link is for the brand used in this video, but if it's unavailable you can certainly use another brand. Check your local craft stores as well!
Hi i bought the pet film that the link to 143 vinyl. I dont think it is for this. Can you check? It melted on my shirt and turned hard as a rock. it was weird. I did it for the right settings but just want to check if this is the right pet film. Thanks
It is not the correct pet film there was a confusion for the link added above I have updated the link I'm so sorry this happened to you. I have been using the Pet film from 143 for Christmas shaker cards
I noticed that the powder does not stick as well.. to some. is this too the speed . I am assuming it needs to be powdered quickly while it still wet. ? I did high speed
I wonder if your climate makes a difference it's humid here?
what is the best printable iron on sheets?
Hi Deborah! If you are looking for printable iron on HTV, we recommend: www.143vinyl.com/inkjet-printable-htv-transfers/
What heat press do you have in the back looks teal
its A2Z from stahls - m.stahls.com/a2z-heat-press/
The link to the film is 12x12 is it the same stuff you used? I see a comment saying it melted? I'm so confused. Thanks for any help!
I have updated the link. there was a confusion the PET film for 143 is acetate
How Long do you have to apply the powder after the image gets done printing
I would say within 5 minutes or less
Purple
I love watching your Live show
We were so happy to have you with us! What did you think of the sublimation hack?
Did I hear you mention that there is a powder for black shirts?
Yes there is!
Crystal this was great. However I missed the the first video when you used this method. For some reason I can't find it.HELP!
Hi Susie! I have the video for you here: czcams.com/video/tCBsLYH8VRM/video.html Let us know if you have any sublimation questions!! We are here to help.
I'm an introvert too!
Wish I had known before that all this would be free!!!
Hi I need advice on a good Epsom sub printer please?😊
And Epson Eco tank works I would find the cheapest one :)
I have a question my sublimation printer is a Saltgrass 1k if I use the DTF film to sublimate will the powder from the film come off and cause my paper sensor to mess up?
Thanks
Hey there! Thank you for watching today. The powder is put on after it's printed so it shouldn't come in contact with the printer 😊
There is powder on the film that you are printing on.
I do DTF I am not talking about the loose powder.
Thanks 😊
I know it’s not available, but I would like to know the name of the PET film you used in this video. Also where can we purchase the purple t-shirt used in this video?
The pet film was offnova and the Hot melt powder is Godora Transfer Powder
Hey Sue! You can use this brand of PET film as well: www.143vinyl.com/12-x-12-pet-sheets-25-pack.html The purple shirt was an extra tie dye shirt from a previous project 😊
I ordered the film and it has a clear plastic coating on each side. I peeled them off. How do I know which side to print on? I just guessed and the print came out runny. I applied the powder immediately and followed the directions in the video. The whole sheet stuck to the shirt and I didn’t think it was going to come off. I was a complete failure!
It is not the correct pet film there was a confusion for the link added above I have updated the link I'm so sorry this happened to you. I have been using the Pet film from 143 for Christmas shaker cards
Does this powder have to be cooked a bit before using it?
nope, seems to work fine without that for me
hi from South Africa is it possible for you to do a design on the epson printer using the DTF Transfer Paper ?
Hi Tarryn! Which design program would you be using? - Dawn
I’ve had pretty good luck with this dtf but I’m having trouble with the black running. Can you please tell me what causes this. I think it’s happening during the heat
process.
Hey Sandra! Could you tell us about the project and what products you are using? This will help us troubleshoot. Also, if you are ever in need of help right away, we have a live chat option through our homepage and you can always email us at mail@designbundles.net 😊
DTF film and powder
says I cant get free bundle
Awww. Thanks for letting us know it doesn't work on black. I'm disappointed but I'm glad you tested it
Hi Rhonda!! Don't worry! We can test things so you don't have to! 😊
Does it has to be heated before you heat press your design?
Hey Darlene! Are you referring to heating the design before you press? Once it comes out of the printer, you can add the powder and then press to your shirt at 385 for 40 seconds. If you have any other questions, let us know! 😊
Is there a work around for no white sublimation ink?
Hi Barbara, you could sublimating on to white HTV if you would like to add the design to a darker garment
🙂
Will this work with a Epson sublimation printer. Please
Hi there! Yes, you can use another brand of sublimation printer.
I went to the sight listed for the pet sheets and it doesn't look the same as yours and is 12 X 12. They don't seem to have another size. I'm wondering if there is another place to get it. Or what brand is it?
I have updated the link
@@DesignBundles is there a 12x12 option? Also, I dont see the link for the purple shirt
So you don't have to set it under the heat press to cure?? Just put it on your item and press it??
Hi Michelle! Once it comes out of the printer, you can go right to adding the powder. No need to wait! 😊
I really like the dtf idea and purchased the suggested PET film and powder as soon as I saw your first video on it. I have an Epson ET-2760 that doesn't have a "Transparency" setting, and I've tried all the other settings with and without a piece of paper taped to the PET film and my printer will only print a fraction of the design, at best. My printer won't even accept the taped paper - and I've tried several different kinds of tape. Does anyone have any other ideas on getting my printer to print?
Love this

I have a 2720 and pretty sure I use matte photo paper
Can you use a Epson conversion into sublimation printer?
Hi there! Yes, you can convert an epson printer for sublimation!
I did and love it. My daughter and I made dexcom bandaids with cute pictures.
Why does it keep saying free has expired?
I have watched several tutorials about this and they always dry it under heat press or in oven before pressing. I’m so confused, I didn’t see you do that. Is that step not necessary if you are pressing right away?
I have found it's not necessary
@@DesignBundles Thank you!
What's the difference between die dye and sublimation?
Hi there! Sublimation color is transferred through heat and requires a special printer 😊
I have been trying this procedure out and I am getting smudged ink on the pet film. I am buying the brand you used. Then I put the powder on and it hasn't been going well. Does the powder matter too?
Hi there! Is the smudge appearing during the printing process or the heating process? - Dawn 😊
@@DesignBundles It was the printing. I gave up on it though.
Hello, I purchased the pet film but I'm unsure of which side is matte
Don't worry! We can help! The PET Film has a glossy side and a matte side so if you are standing by a light, the reflective side will be the glossy (the side you DON'T print on) and the matte side won't be shiny (the side you DO print on) You can re-watch that part at about 11 minutes into the video. We hope this helps! 😊
Thanks for your effort and information, but do i have to purchase Plus Membership to get the free samples. totally free !!
Hey there! We do have an amazing free resources section that you can find here: designbundles.net/free-design-resources For the Plus Bundle, you do have to be a Plus Member but we are giving away a free month trial membership if you would like to see how beneficial the Plus Membership is: designbundles.net/plus-choose?reg=1&pdcode=DXRD2qGDvsTk2zWR
My Epson 2720 will not feed the DIF paper even when I tape it to plain printer paper as you did why?
Try to run it through without the paper using glossy paper settings
How do u get it to print without leaving marks through the design from the paper feed roller?
I get dotted lines because of the little wheels on my paper feed. I have an epson F170.
Hey Kelly! Is there a chance you are printing on the wrong side? If possible, could you send a picture to mail@designbundles.net and we can help troubleshoot. Let us know what supplies you are using as well!
where was the purple shirt from? Thank you ❤️
Thank you for participating ! ❤️
Can you tell me where to buy the purple shirt?
Can you use masking tape or frog tape?
Hi Sandy! Are you referring to Crystal using the heat tape? The heat tape is used to prevent the design from moving so using masking tape or frog tape would burn under the heat of the press. If you have any sublimation questions, please let us know! We are here to help 😊
Go for the gray
How soon do you need to add the powder.. immediately or a hour or days later?
Hi Ruthshell! You would want to add the powder immediately and then go directly to the shirt.
@@DesignBundles this the issue when i do apply it not all of the powder adheres to entire pic. it as if it is drying already not fool proof
When clicking the link above for pet film, it says its meant to print from epson Inkjet printers and on any color. But you are using sublimation. Is it for both or not.
We never tried to use it with inkjet but we might be doing the test soon 😊 It is suitable for sublimation printers though :) - Agata
What is the washability after a few washes?
Hi Shelly! We haven't had any issues and the color is still the same but we do recommend washing it like you would with any sublimation or vinyl shirt (avoid hot water and tumble try low)
How does this hold up to repeated washing and drying???
Hey there! So far so good but with any customized shirt, we do recommend washing and drying with care! 😊
Crystal Ann, my DTF looks distressed. Could it be the temperature or peeling it warm? HELP!! I've used over 12 sheets and 6 T-shirts trying to figure why I am not getting a good sublimation
I had the same problem but found out that After peeling you need to put parchment paper on design and heat again for 12 seconds. Your design will have full color after.
What time and temperature are you using? - Brittany
Hi is there another pet film that you can refer that is 8.5x11 please. I got the powder you recommended but still can’t find the offnova film. 143 vinyl sheets are 12x12
Hi Autumn! We have also purchased the larger sheets and trimmed them down as necessary (especially if the one you want is out of stock on Amazon) We've also used this brand which is currently available: amzn.to/3z5vY4B
@@DesignBundles thanks so much. I was afraid to try another brand that has not been tested by you.
Hi I looked at the other film you said It says you have to put in oven. What does that mean
Hi Autumn! No worries! If you ever need assistance please let us know we are happy to help!
Can someone post the link again of the dtf again please
Here is the link amzn.to/3CJ3JLU
What brand is your powder?
Godora is the brand 🙂
