Hello Everyone!
I had no intentions of making a video today; but it happens so here we go!
Tomorrow is the National Battle of the Bands contest in Houston and I was asked to make a last-minute shirt for a friend. Since I had to make the shirt, I figured it would a great time to demonstrate again how to use the HTVRONT Sublimation HTV for Dark Fabric. Everyone seems to love the ability to sublimate on cotton, so please feel free to follow along with my process.

Hi Delonda, Thank you for showing this on a Cotton Tshirt. I am practicing to start a new business and I was avoiding Cotton T-shirts and getting blend. I wondered why my print from my Canon sub printer didn’t transfer on a cotton tshirt but now I know I needed a white print printed on my Cricut Explorer 2 first. I am Loving your videos. Wow, thank you! I wouldn't say that it feels like iron on; but you can definitely feel the image on the shirt. It is soft though.

How did you cut just the outline for the sublimation sheet?
DeLonda, I’ve finally moved to Huntsville and have missed watching your videos….A couple of questions… have you washed the shirt using the HTVRont transfer for dark colors? If so, how did it hold up? Does it come in a matte finish? Is the image stiff from having the transfer vinyl below it? What is your opinion of the HTVRont heat press? I LOVED the “fix” you shared on how to remove unwanted vinyl… I have had this happen too and wasn’t able to fix it properly. Have a blessed day.
Hi there. Here is the wash update. It feels like htv. Yes it comes in matte and I like the htvront heat press.

Hello. I've enjoyed watching your videos so far. I have a question. I am new at this. I have an Epson WF 4730. I purchase A4 paper, I've purchased the A4 t-shirt, and I have a heavy duty heat press. I also change my settings as recommended. I heat at 400 for 60 seconds.
I am not getting any of the image onto the t-shirt. It only comes out faint yellow leave me a shadow. What am I possibly doing wrong?

Does this feel softer than printable vinyl?
I enjoy watching your tutorials, you explain everything so calmly. Why does everyone call it sublimation when it's not embedded into the material. Hopefully someone can make up a better word for it . Just Saying 😊

This is just a regular Epson ET 2760; but it will print up to 8.5 x 14
I'll try this one because the light fabric sublimation is fading (getting blurry) after one wash
How do you cut the htv paper on the Cricut? When I attempt to cut it, the machine isn't able to find the lines. Do I have to recalibrate my machine?

Hi Delonda, may I ask why you put the setting for the sublimation paper to infusible ink transfer sheet? Also, I did all if the same steps and my white can put looking muddy. Was it too much pressure you think? I don’t have an automatic. I only have the heat press that you have to adjust the pressure. Thanks
Great question! I like using that cut setting because I seem to get accurate cuts with it. Sometimes with other cut settings, I will have to send the item through multiple times to get it to cut all the way through.

I use Butcher paper to prevent the ink from getting on my heat press or from going through my fabric, when I am doing sublimation. I use parchment paper when I am pressing heat transfer vinyl, to prevent the vinyl from shrinking.

Delonda, does the mini press need to be warm in order to peel the piece of leftover HTV?
Yes. I am so sorry I didn't show that part. I turned it on the 2nd light I think.
Delonda this may be a silly question but after you cut out the htv will the cricut automatically let you put the sublimation paper back in and cut that design out or do you have to press something else?
That's not a silly question. After you cut the htv, send your image to the printer and then allow your Cricut to cut it out.
Anyway you could do a video for a light switch plate w sublimation?
I responded to your first request yesterday about this same question. Your comment is coming across as rude. As you can see in the title of this video, this has nothing to do with a light switch plate. If this is not what you are looking for, please look elsewhere.

Delonda, I’m not sure if you have mentioned this before, but how is the feel of that HTV Ront for Sublimation compared to regular HTV?
It feels like regular htv; but I would honestly prefer this method over sublimation on glitter htv.

Hey! I just looked on the website and I found the sublimation htv but none of them say for dark colors. Also, I did see the gloss and matte.

In addition, I purchased ( HTVRONT Heat Transfer Paper for Dark T Shirts -10 Pack Iron on Transfer Paper for Inkjet Printer, Easy to Use Printable Heat Transfer Vinyl) not reading it correctly -ugh
I do not have a inkjet printer I only have a ink cartridge in my office I do have the Epson 15000 - is there any way to use this at all ? Thx for your time
Hi there. I am not familiar with the pre-cut dark 12 x 12 paper. This one that I used is designed to be used with sublimation printers. Does your Epson 15000 have sublimation ink inside or the ink that came with the printer? If it has sublimation ink inside and you have set up your printer for sublimation printing, you can use the same material that I used in this video. In order to use Transfer Paper for Dark T-Shirts, you would need to use an inkjet printer.

What's the darkest color of shirt can you use withe t sublimation dark htv
I have used it with black shirts too.
I need help. I got the htvront sublimation vinyl and I subbed on it. I waited 2 weeks to even wash it and I took it out of the dryer and it was a red white and blue flag and the blue bled everywhere onto the white vinyl part. I asked sublimation groups and they said this is a thing and it happens and they haven't found a fix. 😢 I don't know what to do now.

Hi there, was hoping to find a trick on how to use this sublimation htv on red shirts? The red bled through the white htv, so I am prewashing with white vinegar to see if that helps... Anybody got any tricks?
Make your white offset smaller.
Is it not okay to mirror in design space? Do you have to only mirror print settings
That's how I do it.
Okay I am trying it your way to see if it matches up better to my vinyl. I am struggling to get the print then cut to line up with my vinyl. The vinyl has been coming out bigger than my print and will absolutely not line up

Yes, they should work.

It's actually hard to do. Try making the offset a tiny bit bigger.

Why do you use the HTV for dark, when its a light colored shirt
Great question! Because it is cotton and I like this product. I have used it for dark fabric also.
The gray shirt is not a dark fabric or could it be because it’s cotton

Question. Could you have duplicated the image and made it a basic cut instead of adding an offset??
Yes!
But, the white layer shrinks a little bit, so it still has to be bigger than the image.
