Daniel Madison can you talk about how to establish yourself in the industry please? I want to be creating and teaching.
Advice? Well... for me sometimes it's hard working with the right angle. But that's a practice problem. I started doing magic for random people on the street so sometimes there's struggle to have everyone in the right place (if that makes sense) Besides that... I feel like you're giving so much advice about life and all that stuff already. I sometimes feel like I'm listening to an older brother who has been through some shit in life.
Too bad that there's no SC member exclusive area on CZcams or something like that. Or a separate area on your website where I can access all the things from everywhere.
How about advice on performing on the street?
Ive always wondered how the pros prepare their hands before they perform. My hands are often quite dry and it makes it a real challenge to get much done. Ive tried rinsing my hands with cold water but id like to hear your input

I'm the worst. I ask, "How much would you like to pay?", then work from there. Gives me an idea of who they are and what they can afford. If it's a good answer great, if it's too low you ask for what you need to be happy.
If there's a booking that comes my way that I don't want I quote a ridiculously high amount so that they say no, which they usually do, but every so often they say okay and I'll make serious bank on a terrible gig!
@@DANIELmadison that's what David Copperfield does. Actually really smart. If you have to work a bad job, it's at least nice to come home with good $$$

A question I’ve had and run into is kids parties. I get asked to do a lot of kids parties, and ideally they’re not what I want to book but it is a gig. What is your opinion on kids parties?
DON'T DO IT. You'll never be taken seriously as an artist/entertainer. Or at least it'll be damn difficult to make the transition into real money.
