Really dig the truck man! The Tremor is my dream ride, I just bought a 2023 F-150 STX with the optional 5.0L V8. First new vehicle ever, loving this 400 horsepower V8. The thing has insane power! It’s got a lot of induction noise on the STX as Ford deletes the sound mat on the hood for XL, once you hit 2,500 and up it sounds like a muscle car
I have the same in Avalanche white. I added running boards so far and got a trifold tonneau I pulled off my 2020. Also ordered An AVS black matte bug and rock guard as well as black matte rain guards and the rough country rear well liners. The extras add up but still 1000s less than some of the ford “packages”. I still feel that LED lights should be standard post 2020 but that’s what I think my next purchase will be.
Open up that exhaust let that coyote breath. Borla, MBRP, Magnaflow, Flowmaster... Anything will help that engine breathe better. Beautiful truck nonetheless.
Nice. i just purchased the Tremor in Stone Gray this past Saturday. it has the 401A package and 5.0 V8. my last F150 was a Lariat and i did not use all those bells and whistles so i saved myself some cash and got one just like yours. I wonder though did you level your front end? i feel like mine sits higher in the back? I know the dealership could probably do that. Only other thing to do is a spray in liner and maybe a truck bed cover in the future. I have had the 5.0 in past trucks and mustangs and it has been a great engine for me. I know a lot of people talk about the 4 WD auto being so great and they would have to have the 402A, but i didn't have that in my past older F150's and i survived. LOL
Heck yah!! It actually sits 2” higher than our 2013 f150 tht i bought from dad when he got the tremor. We decided to not level the truck after making this video czcams.com/video/rxQh0RAwChs/video.html It shows how much the rear squats with a load in the bed and would only be more dramatic with a level kit. We are loving the truck so far! We test drove a tremor with the 4wd auto and was cool but not a game changer for us. Only improvement would be racing it from a dig or in patchy snow conditions but we only see tht once or twice a year.
Have a 2023 F150 Tremor with 2.5 level kit (dealer installed). Its making a single popping sound in front end when making full turn or u-turn. Anybody have same problem?
Its been smooth but it jumps around gears quite a bit more compared to our 2013 6 speed 5.0 f150 which we kinda expected. Only thing we noticed that worthy of noting transmission wise is the downshifts when towing it trys to rev match down shifts and accelerates slightly while slowing down. Lol its hard to explain but you gotta press the brake pedal more when slowing down down hill in anticipation for the rev match.
Not going for fast just like that sound of the V8 over the ecoboost. Wanted to let people know how the dual exhaust sounds on the f150 v8 tremor . Though it does feel fast compared to our 2013 f150

V8 tremor was just released this year companies are working on making a tremor specific exhaust still

You should do a resonator/muffler delete to see how it sounds
Before you get an exhaust because exhaust changes the tone of the truck as you know
