- The Alfa Romeo Disco Volante by Touring is manufactured of a lightweight body: hand-beating aluminium panels are combined with the use of carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) as the result of a study conducted to define optimal use of materials for the bodywork in terms of weight, resistance, precision, finish and quality, and ease of repair in case of damage.

@@jezusmylord I saw this car in Geneva motorshow in 2018. By that time it was not a new car, so I wasn't counting on seeing it there. It is very very special.
Becoming a lost art. You have to love the craftsmanship and perfection of their work. Just having the opportunity to work on a project like and get paid for it is a blessing. Thank you Touring.
I had the pleasure of visiting their factory in 2014 and sitting in a completed disco volante.
The italian design centers can do that better than any other else in the world. In the past they build a Prototype in 4 weeks. Many car manufacturer need they're help. Italy - home of good design since ever.
All of that beautiful work just to be put into the hands of some muppet who happened to be squeezed out into the right oil family.
Seriously though, absolute masterclass.

Till a few years back, I had been that kind of guy who would just not understand those who consider themselves as "car fanboys". I never even thought of putting a car wallpaper up. But this car right here... changed it all. It was like a whole new world opening up to me. It's a dream to even touch this car now.

This is a work of art and love. I wish Touring would also improve the performance of the vehicle making the vehicle lighter, stonger, with a better suspension, and changind it to a manual transmition.
