He dosent bird watch birds come to watch him.

"better to burn out than to fade away" thumbs up.
Bucky's Hunting Tips Highlander :-)
He reminds me of Ted Nugent. Also, nice Neil Young reference from "Hey, Hey...My, My, ( Into the black )"...
@None of your Business 337 finally someone said it - no credit to Kurt without you

Donut Operator yay
Donuuuut
Boston Cream or glazed? I prefer Old fashioned myself. Interesting channel 🍩 , I saw your cameos with angry cop in Vet TV. Godspeed.
Ah! It’s bagel operator
Ah...the Upstates finest! Donut, that is!
His vocabulary is so crisp and clear. The way he pronounces his words are sharp, thats badass
+Eric Ramirez
they have to learn foreign languages. helps quit a bit to learn your own for real
Eric Ramirez Probably got smoked for any kind of poor pronunciation
Well observed...It's typical of Green Berets, they must score high in vocabulary because not only must they be able to become versed if not fluent in foreign languages but they also are teachers which requires good verbal communication skills. Also in this line of work being concise with what you want to describe or communicate is crucial. When you take the ASVAB you're tested for your comprehension of vocabulary and nuances,if you score low in that department SF is a no go for you.
Common amongst special forces instructors, very articulate
4 years later, I wish more people would grasp this mindset when speaking. I’m tired of seeing “boy” spelled “boi”, as an example of where I see language going. Being a smart human being with some common sense and self awareness should be everyone’s standard. We seem to be going in the opposite direction apparently.
Pat is like Randy "Macho Man" Savage, x1000 and with guns. His intensity bends steel at 35 yards.
THAT IS PERFECT!
He is one of the most badass dudes to take a dump between a pair of combat boots, and he's a bird watcher. I love it.
there are similarities between bird watching and conducting recon missions. I know it sounds silly but it's true.
He tracked a bird for three days to get his photo..........that is an awesome skill set he is carrying. Track a human for three days is one thing, but God's creatures are a whole lot more in tune with their environment. AWESOME.
@@An_Enraged_Pig Not silly at all. What you say is true.
Wow,type A+ right there, the man is stuck in beast mode. I got so motivated from this i hd to crank out some push ups.
Gavin Sloma lmao yea man
I just knocked out 50! Haven't done em for a while. This guy is motivating!
Seriously, I feel like I've been fucking up all these years.
Me too!
He's motivating ! for sure.
man this guy's my idol...his like a military Shaolin monk

Pat McNamara is pure inspiration manifested as a person. Incidentally, he's also pretty insightful as fuck. The following are a few gems I picked up:
1) Outcome-based training {that is, execution in consideration of the consequences} is inferior to performance-based training {that is, execution in consideration of the execution itself}. One effectively conducts the latter by: a) focusing on performing excellently b) focusing on performing in one's own capability.
2) There are no limits. Limits begin where vision ends. *Hint: expand your vision?
3) The probability of achieving your desired outcome will increase once you let go of your need to have it.
4) Don't worry what anybody else is doing, worry about improving yourself.
5) Do everything in excess---better to burn out than to fade away!
Now go on and get you some!
This guy gave so much knowledge in 8 min. ..... i had to watch it twice to comprehend everything!
Nice vid
Justin Spencer and inspiration.
Justin Spencer lol i thought i was the only one... I was like fuck i'm stupid
Dude had 13 broken bones with four reconstructive surgeries, and still says "I've been very fortunate not to get too banged up in my military career."
still got his limbs intact
He's such a humble dude. When he talked about failing delta first time round, he didn't mention that it was because he broke his ankle. No excuses. Always puts things into perspective
2nd jump he tore his biceps in his left arm straight into his forearm, no joke. Was lucky to come out alive and even more so with both arms still attached to his body. 2nd jump at jump school, imagine that.
you have to bro, i'd consider myself as fresh as a daisy & I've had my fair share of knocks between accidents, being hit & taking shrapnel. as long as you can keep going then it's all good - the pain will pass & quickly as life. endure one & embrace the other, it just depends on the individual which they'll choose.
if you can still walk and use both your arms and hands normally. that is very fortunate.
how can you not love this guy.
Because he's completely mental and high on cocaine?
@@Mojoman57 I'd take this guy over anyone else when shit hit the fan.
Liberals dont like him
@@goose33 I'm pretty dang liberal man, and I LOVE this guy! Shit man he's devoted so many years to crafting his art as an Operator and has a sharp mind with great outlook on life. I've already watched a number of his firearms training vids... top notch stuff. Glad he's putting his skills to use by sharing his knowledge out there.
@@discojelly i take back my comment then 😂
bird watching former Delta force operator... bird watching suddenly became a baddass hobby.
He tracked a single bird for 3 days. That's hard core.
how the fuck do you track a bird?? haha.
He jumped from treetop to treetop, of course.
Bird watching requires patience, vigilance and the ability to move stealthily through your environment. Sound familiar?
Chuck norris is start to watch birds
It’s very reassuring knowing that there are men like Mr. McNamara out there defending this nation and taking the fight to our enemies.
I would not want to be on the receiving end of what this man dealt out on the battlefield.
Thank you Mr. McNamara for your service to this grateful Nation.
Most of them are defending the deep state sadly
I was driven to join the army too. Literally - my dad took me!
literally driven, in a Buick.
"only difference was when I was age 10 I used to get my ass kicked because of it. Now....bring it.." lol I love that he's a bass fisherman too!
This video needs to be about 90 minutes long
This 100%
@az stuff no. Jocko... way better
That was the plan, but they only got 30min of raw footage before Pat ate the camera.
I was honored to meet this man at an airport during a layover. He was genuinely a nice person. It made my day to meet a true American hero.
Pat should start doing the most interesting man in the world Dos Equis beer commercials.
What a great video. Thank you BCM!
you guys wanna know the entire US arsenal back in cold war? yep that's him
pat buddy you should have your own tv show
His channel is hilarious. Pat Mac
You gotta love Pat's intensity and his drive to live life to the fullest. I bet he is a great dude to have as a friend! One of those guys who is never boring and is not afraid to try anything new, lol. I hope to train with him soon!
Pat just draws people to him. He is a leader in every sense....can't wait to take several of his classes.
The stories from East Germany have to be pretty incredible.
John Smith and mostly bullshit. Too young to do half of the stuff he claimes .
John Smith ignore this guy, he sounds like the classic sf washout, failed sfas (or never went) and now he has a hard on for former operators.
Ethan Porter Assumptions are a mother of all fuckups. Never gone through SFAS, did not care for it. Plenty of family within SF. Active duty army, currently serving in a more challenging position. Both of my of uncle's server within SF in the 80s to mid 90s and my older brother is still an instructor on Q course. As far as Mac and Vickers go, I've been told multiple times that it worth it to bring up old shit.
Kevin Huang oh you're job is harder than sf? OK bro that's why you're posting on CZcams crying like a bitch because this guy did everything you dreamed of and failed at, lolol
Ethan Porter Former 19D now a 35F. Stick to video games or kissing ass. Me, I'm just too old for it. Prior to him transitioning into CAG he mentions that he served in my unit. According to my superiors never in their entire history, have they recruited from SF. SF rarely see combat, their primary job is to train an ingenious proxy force. Are you SF, or even active mil?
Patmac - freaking rockstar. Wish I had a fraction of his energy and drive.
Pat. Thank you sir for your dedication to this great country we are blessed to live in.
"The probability of achieving the outcome you desire will increase once you let go of the need to have it".
I love that
Imagine him doing "story time" for little kids at the local library instead of "drag queens"... 😉😄😆
Gitchusum!
I imagine that turning out like Major Paine, except far worse PTSD. Lol
STORY TIME WITH UNCLE PAT!
I've seen the drag queens one.. pretty cool. Pat would be cool too. Just different type of story reading. I'd find both entertaining.
@@discojelly Crossdressers telling stories to kids is the furthest thing from cool, its atrocious and should never ever happen. It doesnt even compare to hearing a story from someone like pat.
He lives life to the fullest. 24 hours is not enough for this guy. He is truly motivating!
One of the most 80s pictures ever at 2:16
When a guy like Pat says "I consider myself a jack of all trades, master of none" it really makes you question whether any of us have any business calling ourselves a master of anything.
The complete saying was originally “A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” But I get what hes saying. I learned that full quote a wee while back and thought it was interesting.
I'm an engineering automation sales man selling 30 different lines and thousands of products. I know the feeling.
Pat described himself just like I thought he would. No surprises in his description of living life. I wish my body would allow me to do the same. Thanks Pat.
You didnt Listen to him. You may have heard him...but you didnt LISTEN.
watch again.....and listen,...then seek his classes.
Did a class with him, and was lucky enough that several people dropped out, giving us a really small class, so he hopped in and did a lot of the drills with us. Amazing shooter, and an amazing teacher and motivator as well. His focus on performance based training was hugely beneficial to me.
The hardest part for me was getting past the feeling that I was in a class being run by Randy Savage;)
This guy is a fucking hardcore maniac. And I say that in the nicest, most respectful way possible. The simple fact that he survived 13 years in "The Unit" is a testament to his hardness.
"Limits begin where vision ends."

PS... earth is not a planet, its a plane, and motionless, as your senses tell you.
6:23 best part!! lol
Pat is a legend.
Pat is an idol for a lot of people. But not for just the gunfighter aspect, but because of his motivation, passion, and respect he has for people and crafts. Total self starter.
Almost five years have passed since this was filmed. I am grateful to come across this. James Yeager turned me on to Pat but I did not know much about his story. Surely he has been kicking life and asses down the road for a long time.
Holy sh*t... This guy can't even sit there without being intense as f..
I want to train with this guy lol.
“Limits begin where vision ends.” Just had to write that down before I forgot it.
This man is a legend. Passion can't be turned off.
Pat, your kick ass Brother! Attending one or more of your classes is in my future! Thank you for your service! Your energy is contagious! Your a motivator and it's awesome! I'm a 7 year USAF Vet and a active 15 year L.E. Hope to train with you soon Sir!
He's all hopped up on Mountain Dew!! Great video! I loved the information!
I doubt it. He has a pretty clean diet.
Dude is moto as fuck. It's like his beast mode switch is stuck in the on position.
Had the honor to meet Pat and shoot with him. He was the PI for some training some of the people in my previous unit were attending. He's is a great guy, very intense and grounded. Yeah, and an all around bad ass gun slinger.
Why did it take me so effing long to discover this guy?! AWESOME!!!!

"I'm completely addicted to it, I probably need therapy" 😂
Damn Pat's intense, he's a true American Badass!!! I'd pay damn good money to hear some of his stories from days spent down range. I'd hate to be on the business end of one of his firearms.
He's the man. His channel is full of great workouts and weapons training exercises and also great music. Metal up buttercup.
Pat Mac is my role model. No one brings it harder in the tactical world than this guy...
"Now mm.. bring it."😂😂 that got me.
HO-LY SHIT! His training videos does not do him justice! You could never guess this mans personality from them. I've never took in so much information in 8 minutes before! Im going to watch this video a couple more times because I KNOW i didn't catch everything and then im going to sign up for one of his classes! FUCKING AWESOME VIDEO!!!
My dad felt the same way when it came to fishing.Didnt even care if he caught one it was about being out there.Good stuff brings back lots of memories thank you.
This dude is bad ass. Accomplished a lot in a short amount of time. I'd like to take one of his classes. Better to burn out than to fade away. Thanks Pat Mac.
Pat is the kind of dude I'd love to be friends with. so much to learn.
Imagine being the enemy facing this guy. I'm scared just from watching his interview on my phone. I can't imagine with him pissed off and all weaponed up with adrenaline flowing. You can tell this dude ripped some shit up in his day
"Everything worth doing, is worth overdoing." Pat McNamara, a great American.
Pat Mac's most notable quotes "gas it up & burn it down" (classic), "Brrrring it" and "Better to burn out than to fade awayyy"...... Awesome video, best one yet!!
"Now....bring it" This guy is the definition of badass.
this guy is a BEAST a true alpha male
Dude is the Shaolin monk of special operators....... So much knowledge and inspiration. I learned more in two minutes of hearing him speak than I have in six months of searching through gun/training vids... Awesome content.
This guy is a legend amongst the community.
Fascinating interview, fellas. Thanks BCM!
This guy hits every syllable harder than Ray Rice hit that woman in the elevator

That was the fastest 8:39 video I have ever watched.God Bless men like Pat.

Crusades lmao made my day
One of the best parts
When you say "no homo" people automatically assume you're homo
Hell of a story. He stayed busy.
Whenever I feel down or loose focus. I watch a video of Pat McNamara, and end with a smile.
one of the if not the most inspirational instructors out there. hes my favorite for sure. down to earth and no bullshit. teaches u what works and what doesnt.
Can you do these kinds of videos more often
This guy knows wtf he's talking about. And he knows it.
have to come back and watch this every few months to stay motivated.
No need to take a pre-workout after watching this. Pure energy!
Pat is as tough as nails, and as intense as meth amphetamines injected while listening death metal. Scary but knowledgeable, and this is some inspirational shit. Saved as a "favorite." Keep doing you Pat!
that old picture of him looks like a time travelling DrDisrespect
Count2G exactly what I thought lol
I have so much respect for Pat. He is not only the epitome of bad ass, but is also super cerebral. True patriot and amazing human!
This man defines Beast Mode. Glad he's on our side. Awesome vid.
Full blown psychopath! But a very energized, focused, smart and sympathetic one! Props to him!
Just intense. Although all of us are somewhat crazy.
fishing is therapy
You can see the determination that drives this man in his eyes . There's no doubt he's everything he says he is . Thank you Sir !
Pat is great to listen to. Natural instructor .
Hes like a modern day Roosevelt without the politics
Fishing. The tier 1 of sports!!
I watch this video pretty often for motivation. Very smart dude, wish I had a third of that. We need more american gunfighter vids please.
As a high school teacher, I couldn't agree with this dude more. Thanks and Charlie Mike!
This video is sponsored by cocaine
polik jazzed You have no idea...
lmfaooooo, this dude is intense as fuck about everything and its hilariously awesome.
nah dawg worse than cocaine. This guy is the embodiment of Wild tiger energy drink
Lol comment award goes to you 🍾🎉
If he took coke, the coke would get a buzz off him, and he would be uneffected. Then he would kick the dealers ass.
Dude could be a "professional" wrestler. I kept waiting for him to yell at me "Snap into a slim jim" Okay, I just date myself...but seriously Mr. McNamara is intense.
Thanks for that. As I was watching, I couldn't put my finger on who he reminded me of. Now I know---ooohhh yyeeeaaahhh.
The best part was admission of not making the team the first try. THAT was badass. Thanks for the service and too all who have with, before and after me.
Awesome vid, Pat Mac inspires me. The way he described wanting to do everything and see everything is exactly how I feel.
Chuck Norris fears this guy!
I love how this guy isn’t afraid to list his hobbies yet looks like he would rip your spine out while bird watching lmao.
He looks like a dinosaur. Like a friendly T-rex.
That man is intensely awesome.
If just one percent of the men in this country was built like you, with your thoughts, your discipline, your love for country, we would not be in the shape where in now, May God bless you and may you live long and prosper
I'd bird watch with him...
Fucking motivating.
I watched this when it was new but just watched again and wish I could double like it. Thank you for your service and I can't wait to train with TMACS
Man. He is intense! I feel comfortable saying, he is probably the most BAMF, I've seen interviewed on AG. Noticed he wears a lot of Rogue American Apparel. Now I can tell my wife, I'm not the only dude who digs RAA shirts and hats.
