For those of you who didn’t get to see Michael Jordan play: He could score like KD. He could defend like Kawhi. He could dunk like Greek. He had a motor like Russ. All in one body. He was the best offensive player and defensive player in the league in one player. He was a complete two way superstar with elite work ethic and killer mentality to never flop, never cry for fouls, and win no matter what. Long Live the GOAT 🐐

Michael Jordan is the best player of all time because not only did he have the flash, athletic ability but also the most fundamentally sound player.
He could finish at the rim, go left or right and change direction while keeping the same speed, post up smaller defenders, unstoppable midrange pull-up, baseline fade-away, and shoot 3’s if he wanted too. Complete two way superstar.
In one season he won the MVP, Scoring Title, Defensive Player of the Year, All Star MVP, & Slam Dunk Champ.
He was the most athletic guy in the league, but also had the highest work ethic, and best offensive player and defender in one package. Long Live the GOAT 🐐

MJ was such a sound and amazing player playing against physical defense w/ hand checking, it's insane. He'll be the GOAT forever as I'm not seeing this league today as it is toughening up. Getting one three-peat is hard enough, this dude got TWO of them. There's so many things that can go wrong during a three-peat, and the fact that MJ's Bulls overcame that TWICE is ridiculous. Look at how we thought the Warriors would three-peat with KD, and towards the end even they broke down. We thought the Heat would win "not 1 , not 2, not 3,....." but in the end they "only" ended up with 2. Bad Boy Pistons for all their greatness couldn't do it. Showtime and Bird Celtics couldn't do it. The freaking San Antonio Spurs, a symbol of consistency and excellence, couldn't even repeat in their 20 year run. Three-peats are HARD, and despite the majority of the basketball world calling MJ GOAT for the last two decades, I still don't think the majority of us have ever completely processed just how ridiculous 6 championships in 8 years is. Even as I type this, I still can't process how remarkable that achievement is. Can't wait for the doc on Sunday let's get it!!!

@DaQuan Lmfao you Bronsexuals come to these comments to pick fights that you're never gonna win. You all are so insecure it's unreal. You're in the minority for good reason, the majority of fans and players are of the opinion that MJ is the GOAT. That's unfortunate for you guys, because for all the toxic legacy lynching you've tried to do against anyone that's ever stood up against Lebron's GOAT narrative, you've managed to discredit them all, including his own teammates. But you never got to do that to Michael Jordan's legacy, because the fans aren't stupid. Bronsexuals(fans and media) have been swaying opinions on players for years so they could prop up Lebron, and their narratives have discredited so many greats of the game it's unreal. You got to current greats like KD, Steph, Kawhi, etc and successfully managed to discredit them.
You got to past greats like Kobe, Kareem, Magic, etc and managed to discredit them. You discredited every opponent of his, and when it fit your narrative, even his teammates were ruthlessly thrown under the bus. Wade, Kyrie, Bosh, Love, etc all got used as chess pieces in the Bronsexual narrative machine. Congratulations to you guys, your constant propaganda got your guy to NUMBER TWO.
But he's only Number two. You never got to Mike. His legacy is untouchable, and that eats away at you. For every one hole you can poke at MJ's legacy, I can poke five at Lebron's. You losers even managed to discredit Jordan's competition, and players like Malone, Barkley, Stockton, IT, etc couldn't be spared from the Bronsexual wrath. And yet you never got to Mike. He still has the significant majority. All your efforts to make Lebron seem greater than he actually is only managed to make him number two. When Lebron is retired, there will be the next generational player, and I hate to break it to you, that player will be compared to Michael Jordan. Not Lebron James. And don't you worry, many will remember all the players you discredited to elevate Lebron. History is written by the winners, and you guys lost.

Best part was he was a team player, he played within the offense so that everyone felt involved and that’s why they won so much, everyone knew where they would get their shots and mike was able to use his teammates to get himself and others easy shots. He isolated too but he was a great passer with high IQ.
His fadeaway is still most unstoppable shot ever, Durant’s post game reminds me or Jordan’s because you can’t do anything to stop it just hope they miss.
Hangtime is so valuable in basketball too being able to love ball around in mid air and it’s almost like a shot fake while you’re in mid air it makes it impossible to block.
He did all this back when the paint was so clogged with big men and not many guys could or would really shoot, if he played now with the pace and space he might be better but the level of skill and the athletes are so much better now so it would be harder.

Kawhi, LBJ and KD are some examples of players who use MJ's fadeaway as a go to move yet MJ deniers mock the mid range fadeaway. The amount of space and the fact that there is a 3 second violation and 5 second violation in today's game which replaced the illegal defense rule(and is more detrimental to defense than the illegal defense rule was too) would mean plenty of open lanes for MJ. People also have to remember who MJ was. If you were to leave the guy open at the 3 point line or mid range and "dare him to shoot," he would feel insulted and drop 50+. The man had a 3 point record in the finals for crying out loud.

This is why whenever someone asks,”who is the greatest scorer of all time?” I cannot say anyone else but MJ the man has 32,000plus points in just 14 seasons just imagine more of the damage he would’ve done if he played at least 17-20 seasons like kobe&bron etc

MJ summed it up, the parity in those era made it different. The top 8 in the league were real ring-chasing teams.
They said MJ didn't have that fadeaway early in his career. They have to see he did that in his rookie season but he was more of a rim attacker back then. Fadeaway and step backs a plenty.

    • @rumar4u

@erik puka Nahh not at all, if he does, he would be only lying to himself. He’s trying the mentality of “Yes you can” in order to keep motivated and end up in the history books. Aside from that, only MJ haters put Lebron over him. Those who doesn’t hate him, wouldn’t even dare to put both in the same conversation.

This was the first season Jordan lost his leaping ability at about age 30. You notice him going to the jumpshot more and more. He got some of his hops back after his first retirement but was never the same. I think this was due to the long 1992 playoff season and then running with the Dream Team was too much for his knees.
