I've been out of practice with my Windsurfing, but watching those tacks was excellent and the advice about slipping your hand to the wishbone clew was very descriptive.👍
these tricks are easy for an experienced windsurfer, on a big board a small sail and very light wind and flat seas, on a small board in strong winds rough seas is another story
It might be but I haven't tried with cam sails. It will certainly be a lot easier without cams. In the video I'm using a 4.4 freestyle sail but something like a freeride or wave sail will work well.
Rope attached to handle on the back of the big board then I attached the other end to my freestyle board around the UJ. The camera is mounted onto the mast extension which I connected to the UJ
The idea of the camera floating behind is genius!

Neat! Love it!

I usually use a cam sail to do a boomerang. For me its easier then a freestyle or wave sail as i am more used for cam sails
Great thanks! But I doubt anybody can do this after a week windsurfing...;)
si tendria un equipo de fibra de carbono capaz que podria hacerlo, jajaja tengo un equipo viejo con mastil de fibra de vidrio es super pesado.
Ah yeah, fair enough 😂That will certainly make it harder.
What's the trick for the tow behind gopro?

@@willnicholls5 gotcha, seems like a bunch to drag around but explains the decent stability!
@@willnicholls5I am definitely going to try this (with a SUP because I only have one board)
What is it what you pull behind you with the camera on it, can you give us a picture. I like the idea a lot
The camera is attached to my freestyle board which I'm towing behind me using a rope.
@@willnicholls5 Ahhh, cool idea, Thanks
next time boomerang 360
