    Thanks for the video!
    Is there any binder that you have that does NOT bend when the binder is fully filled and both pages opened?

    Good review,
    I've never been a fan of Vault X binders even though people seem to hype them up alot..
    The spine just seems so tight that it probably does bend cards overtime >.<
    Only thing I like about them, is the materials seem quite good quality indeed

      Very fair comment. No 1 product is perfect. It's all about what compromise you want to make. What binder do you use? ☺️

      Mostly Gamegenic Zip-up albums, and I also have some Dragon shield Card codexes :D
      (I have 6 Gamegenic, it's currently my favorite)
      Those binders have that spine bulge-issue too, but not nearly as extreme as in Vault X or some other brands I've seen

      Great binders for sure. Good choice 😁👍

      Any binders you’d recommend that can fit top loaded pokemon cards?

  • @roguegeek

    Any thoughts on these for use with double sleeving? Are there any binders you'd recommend for double sleeved cards?

    • @DoubleSleeved
      @DoubleSleeved  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Most binders will work with double sleeved cards. Depending on what you want, filling a whole binder will increase the thickness and pressure on all cards and you will be better with a folder that has separate pages, this will take the pressure off of the cards when closed. If you only want to fill some pockets then any binder will do. Hopefully that makes sense ☺️

      @@DoubleSleeved Excellent feedback. So if this particular binder is pretty good, what is your favorite album-type binder for cards?

    • @DoubleSleeved
      @DoubleSleeved  Před 9 měsíci +2

      We haven't done extensive testing on all of the options on the market, but Gamegenic do a nice chunky folder that matches their other products colours. www.doublesleeved.co.uk/collections/card-binders-folders/products/gamegenic-prime-ring-binder
      Otherwise it will be down to preference and how much you are looking to use it/transport it etc. :)@@roguegeek

    I'd consider it if it were a proper Nylon cloth outside, but I am not a fan of these delecate rubber-esq materials. Just too fragile for my taste, and I am not a fan of the hand-feel. Likely difficult to clean too, unless its exceedingly hard rubber.

  • @chovue2363
    @chovue2363 Před 10 měsíci +1

    Hmmm...very nice binder. But its going to be sitting on my shelf for a long time. Think the dust will stick to the rubber-like texture? Or is it farely slic and can be dust off? 🤔

    • @DoubleSleeved
      @DoubleSleeved  Před 10 měsíci +1

      I fear dust could be an enemy of this binder. The surface has so many little intents, but it isn't glossy so wouldn't be really noticeable. If you kept it stored like a book on a shelf it would be fine but laying it down or having it facing outwards would be potentially troublesome.

      @DoubleSleeved Update time! Dig the 2 tone color wave alot. Material was alot more rubbery than expected but I do like the feel of them. Not a fan of gamegenics jean fibers. They'll just be used for personal collection and be sitting on the shelves so I'm not worried about all the dings and scratches from travel. The cards sit flat with the binder closed but does the usual book opening where the pages flare up at the binding but if you fill up the front and back side of the binder pages the sleeved cards seem to hold enough rigidity and don't bend. Overall, pretty banger! Ordering another one. Awesome review as always! *subscribed*

    Do you have any recommendations for binders that have perfectly even pocket sizes? I came from a Dragon Shield Codex (bottom row was super loose) and decided to try Vault X. It's a shame so many companies can't seem to get the consistency in pocket sizes down. Would greatly appreciate any help!

    • @DoubleSleeved
      @DoubleSleeved  Před 7 měsíci

      This is a tough one. We haven't opened enough binders of the same type to say that consistency is perfect with any. I'll see what our stocks show, but we are quite busy at the moment with Xmas 😅😅

      @@DoubleSleeved Hi thanks for the reply! I ended up going VaultX and returning the Codex. Pretty happy with it so far. Cards slip a little now and then but overall it's not too bad. Basically the same as the Codex in that regard. Have the binder bump with the VaultX once you start loading it with cards, but it actually doesn't bother me nearly as much as I thought it would. Pretty satisfied with VaultX and will be using their binders for future sets!

      I noticed that most of the zipper binders don't lay flat when opened
      Recently bought a vault x 4 pocket but their is spine bulging on the left
      I use them for my sports cards.
