- We had this gorgeous Hyundai i30n (pre face lift) grace our KTEC Racing Wolverhampton branch recently for a load of work. This included:
- fitting a facelift turbocharger
- supply and fit the KTR (HPFP) High-pressure fuel pump (k-tecracing.com/products/ktr-...)
- Supply and fit the KTR Intercooler upgrade (k-tecracing.com/products/ktr-...)
- Custom ECU calibration
This car came in with just under 300hp and left with a staggering 377hp and 518nm torque. Unfortunately, the clutch began to slip as it was on 77,000 miles with the original clutch. However, the customer is booked back in for an RTS twin friction clutch and new flywheel so we can push some more torque in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, we are now restricted by the stock downpipe.

That's awesome power for I30n! My main issue was for a 2.0 petrol, a Golf R/S3/Type R comes with alot more power when remapped. However the I30N with a facelift turbo is up in the same leagues now! And I prefer the looks of the I30N for sure!
i30n is a beast! we should do a i30n vs Meg 4 ;)
Nice power. Get a mic when you can its hard to make out the audio with all the echo
Quick question is the ecu Bosch or kefico I have i30 myself 1.6 diesel kefico ecu problems with dpf and I have rang a few lads and said it can not be done atm to get dpf removed ad-blue etc

Fantastic car in all aspects bar the one and only requirement I have for a performance car....It must not be FWD.
Try it before you ditch it, these E-LSD diffs eat corners, understeer is a rarity.
why not FWD ?? this car is awsome dont thing 4x4 is better or rwd becouse is not its kind diffrent
I would test drive one before you cancel a fwd car. I have a stage 2 GTi, fwd of course, and they are so fun to drive and toss around.
Visit fastestlaps and enter N30i vs MK7R (both stock trim), and shows in all tracks VW is much faster.
It's better around corners than the AWD counterparts, which is why it will NEVER be AWD
@@MaackyD Is your opinion, it is not the why it will not be AWD... it is NOT a fact, please stop giving false information.
