Plus, Ben Tramer has a fantastic future ahead of him. At least for the next 8 hours or so.
That's so funny😂😂😂😂😂😂
In the new sequel, the second movie never happened so that means he survives. They finally recognize what happened to him and decided he didn’t deserve to die, thank god!
Is surviving in a worse movie really better?
@@KitAkira1989 Again. is surviving in a worse movie really better?
@@Quandry1 Not in Rob Zombies Halloween 2. Lol
“I would make a petty remark on how that goof SOMEHOW makes this movie bad in order to make myself look hip and cool, heh heh...but it really, really wouldn’t.”
Pretty awesome that Snob made fun of the CinemaSins’ video about Halloween five years before they released their video.
Don't forget Decker Shado who somehow gave Halloween a lower rating than Jason Takes Manhattan
And a lower score than Rob Zombie’s Halloween.
Decker is allowed his opinion we all see films different.. but cinema sins is a guy that just wines
MadelineTopper I thought I took everyone on the Internet serious like that guy who licks things or the guy showed a dead body in Japan suicide forest 😂
MadelineTopper He does actually believe some of his sins that are completely explainable. Like in his Avengers Age of Ultron video, he said that the Hulkbuster armor should be the default armor for Iron Man and that the Shield Helicarriers came out of nowhere.
Also just because they are jokes doesn’t mean they are good or intelligent.
Alright, one of my favorite Snob episodes is back in all its fuzzy glory.
I still miss the hissing sound produced by a mini DV camcorder in the older videos.
Brad should add in post the sfx in an episode, for shits and giggles.
Now we need Halloween 2 and the whole set is complete!
no italian subtitles? I'm offended.
@@mindlessgonzo
What happened to that review
"Cause you're near 30 years old and shouldn't be hanging out with us." LMAO!!!
Still think she’s the hottest, though
And thus began the epic ben tramer running gag
People forget how fantastic this movie was technically. And that brilliant score. Icon.
I love that Brad takes his glasses off when he breaks character, lol.
Josh Hadley's reasoning for hating this movie is like if I hated Jurassic Park because it's _clearly_ filmed on Kauai and not an actual dinosaur island.
When Lumis shoots Michael none of the shots actually hit him. All that stumbling around and hand waving was Michael using his matrix powers to stop the bullets.
Halloween is the best horror film of all time. Flawlessly directed, full of tension, an obviously iconic and incredible score and Lee Curtis is sensational. It's perfect.
40 years and Michael Myers is still on the loose.
The Nightmare on Elm Street joke is amazing.
Yes! I love this review so much. I honestly think the whole Snob thinks this whole series revolves around Ben Tramer thing might be my favorite joke in any of your reviews.
PeaTearGryfin It was funny for the first two episodes. Afterward, it’s clearly beating a dead horse.
Justice for Ben Tramer and Joe Grizzley!
And Ted Hollister, you thoughtless bastard!!!
What about GRADY????🤨
@@AngelofMusic04
😂
for CHRIST SAKE
doesn't anyone care about the
DESTROYED CLASSIC CAMARO
in
HALLOWEEN 5
Don't forget about Lester
Laurie Strode, the only woman who lived THRICE.
Write What You Know:
Haddonfield was where Debra Hill had grown up in New Jersey.
Debra Hill drew on her experience babysitting as a teen and was responsible for writing most of the teenage girls' dialogue.
its about time we saw this without Italian subtitles!
ps. you are clearly only choosing this as a re-upload because of hits etc.
Fun fact. Laurie Strode was named after an old Girlfriend of John Carpenter's. Which means, this whole time, John Carpenter is Ben Tramer.
Watching the movie on AMC right now while watching the review!
CZcams pulled the first video because they HATE Been Tramer!!!!
That's true.
Who’s Been?
Ben has.
@@saschamayer4050 Well Ben Tramer Died In Halloween II
Ngl, adding "Popcorn" by Hot Butter can always make a scene funkier.
This is great it’s finally up on his channel.
Ugh, I hate it when the Snob has to cut off the ope-
*smash cut to the title card*
The One,
The Only,
The Classic,
Halloween!!!
Awesome episode, I don't think I've ever watched this episode in its entirety until now. Funny to see the Snob go so lenient on this 70's horror classic. Too bad the same can't be said about the sequels and remakes. LOL
One of the most underrated series on CZcams.
Mmm~ Beautiful 360p wonder. Glad these older videos are coming back to the internets!
LMFAO!!!!! I never realized that squeaky fart Mike let out when he stood up behind the car. Brilliant observation!!!!
Classic Snob episode!
I’m watching Halloween right now. How funny! 😂😂
Amc?
"MR. TAMBOURINE MAAAAAN!" XD
A Halloween remake add in my Halloween review, now THATS meta!
John Carpenter's Halloween is already 45 years old!
Made over $70 million worldwide being made for only a few thousand dollars
Still remains the most successful independent movie ever made and created the slasher movie blueprint for decades to follow
This made Jamie Lee Curtis a household name and a bonafide scream queen/final girl
The late Donald Plesance gives probably his most iconic performance too
Both of them are the backbone of this story
Yeah it takes over an hour for things to get moving but it's perfectly suspenseful and expertly filmed
Everything from the long camera angles to the hidden cues in the background to long shots full of empty space inside where something will pop out
Carpenter also does wonders with the iconic score
The ending is also the most memorable with Curtis putting up a fight being smart, resourceful, and relatable; this story is overall a loss of virginity for Laurie but since she doesn't go through with it she survives
Pleasance also gives this very in-depth speech summing up why Michael is not human and irredeemable
The success of this would also inevitably lead to 12 more installments all from various timelines (a choose your own adventure) making one of the longest-running franchises in horror history
Carpenter always refers to the villain as the Shape, something that moves in the shadows, hidden, and without rhyme or reason
It also adds to the urban legend of him being the boogeyman in the neighborhood the kids often talk about, nobody can kill him 'Halloween' is a classic for all time while popularizing and defining the subgenre paving the way for other slasher icons with great artistry thanks to John Carpenter
Rewatching this because... I DON'T NEED A REASON BRAD IS AWESOME
An absolute classic, much immitated but never bettered. Donald Pleasence was brilliant in this
Yay! The reupload. I'm so happy
"But more so this part of the night, not Halloween 2, this part's much better". Lol
Laurie doesn't ASK "What's the boogeyman?" She STATES, "It was the boogeyman," and Loomis confirms that.
So... Who's hoping Ben Tramer's in the new good one ?
DevilGearHill I'm more hyped for the unmasked scene.
Plot twist... Michael died years ago and the killer IS Ben Tramer!
Maybe he's Karen's father.
There's a disturbing amount of Ben Tramer/Michael Myers erotic fanfic out there. If I have to know it, so do you.
@@jonathanbethards3689 Great. Now I have to find it
*GREAT CINEMATOGRAPHY; GOOD SOUNDTRACK*
You Can Thanks Dean Cundey Who Did The Cinematography The Music Score Was Done By John Carpenter
One awesome Halloween themes songs ever for horror movies besides Friday 13th movies ones.
a golden oldie
4:10 ...and again 20 years after *that*
''This tall guy next to me won't stop stabbing my sister!''
Just saw it on the big screen last week, even better than at home
@Kevin Xero why would they laugh?
Now upload either Halloween II or Halloween III.
Always surprises me that the ending quote from the Snob is a rip on Kyle’s Arthouse episode. Never stops being funny.
Also has anybody ever watched the tv cut for this with the new footage they shot during Halloween 2?
BRAD! You should do a Snob review of Halloween 3! I know you technically sorta did it, but I’d love one in this format. Same for Friday the 13th V. Do it for the clicks!
Kinda odd he never covered the black sheep.
@@TemmiePlays technically as the snob he didn't but he did do a some what review on it as 80s Dan.
Temmie Plays! He partially covered it in some Geek review or something? It was probably a decade or something ago. It’s before Modern Snob
It's reviewed in the 80's Dan episode on Halloween 3, where 80s Dan dresses up as The Cinema Snob. I've never done it as a proper Cinema Snob episode because the Dan/Snob episode kinda already does that, so I'd be repeating the same shtick.
well dang! now I gotta go back and refind that one! And here I thought I have seen the majority of Snob content.
It seemed to be a lovely Halloween...🎃💯✔️
So much better than Rob Zombie's version, the original looks classy next to the F bomb fest that he made.
Idk his has its own appeal. This one is cheesy but fun.
Zombie just needs to give up He makes horrible movies except for devils rejects. Basically a one hit wonder in the film world
@@McSorleyFan33 I would go as far to say Devil's Rejects wasn't any good either tbh.
Dude I love you and Halloween should be one of if the not the best movie to review of its time.
I thought my night was going too well
Love these videos. You should have your own TV show.
Yay I get to watch this on CZcams now!
I hope we also get the H3: Season of the Witch reuploaded
Truly awesome
There's a Haddonfield in New Jersey.
But is there a Ben Tramer in Haddonfield, NJ?
@@AngelofMusic04 There's a James Rolfe in Haddonfield, NJ.
@ Yes But The Movie Is Set In Warren County Illinois So That's Real
@@loganmosher5935 The county is real, but Haddonfield there isn't.
@@AngelofMusic04 Yeah, but Tony Soprano whacked him, lol.
Happy Halloween 🎃 2021 sir
(moves head side to side) "... cannot figure out the physics of what I just did..."
Gotta love those happy accidents.
But will we ever get H3 now that this series is finished?
H3 and an upgrade version of Friday the 13th 5.
Ooh, I can't wait to play 'Tarantula-Man' on my PS4! (Fisk!)
8:53 if you actually look at the house to the right side of the shot you can see a person standing at the house.
I can’t remember if this is correct or not, but that man was a set PA that didn’t know they were shooting at the time. They didn’t notice him in the shot.
Wow it’s been five years since the first review and during those five years we got a new one
The question still remains: why the hell haven’t you covered Trick or Treat starring Skippy from Family Ties??
I thought he did a year or so ago.
Oh wow, I’m dumb and forgetful
A C T U A L L Y...
Good movie and is one of my favs 👍
I was JUST searching for this one
Wow, can't believe I haven't seen this one before! Hilarious as usual!
anyone ever notice that when he was following them, the shot changed from the sun coming down to complete darkness? HOW FAR AWAY DID THOSE PEOPLE LIVE?
Upvoted for the Airplane! reference.
i love halloween one of my favorite slasher movies.
For anyone who cares, my ranking of the Halloween series:
- Halloween
- Halloween II
- Halloween III
- Halloween 4
- Halloween H20
- Halloween 2018
- Halloween 5
- Halloween Kills
- Halloween 2007

- Halloween Resurrection
- Halloween II 2009
10:30... crap, I’ve seen this movie like 5 times and I never thought about that... dang Brad, that IS sad!
Dear Cinema Snob,
You are clearly only choosing this movie just to get hits, and therefore that makes it an inappropriate movie for your otherwise fantastic Internet series.
Dear cinema snob,
I always found this offscreen dog cadaver in the house ridiculous.
But, I think this scene supposed to be after the death of the dog on screen.
Maybe they made this Lumis arrival in the house after the 1st murder in the script and change it in the editing room.
I have this theory for years since I saw this movie for the 1st time.
Who is with me on that theory?
That's plausible, but it could also be foreshadowing about what Michael will do to the onscreen dog.
Who the hell keeps a lit Jack O'Lantern on their nightstand? I'm not sure if the brightness means its a bulb?
Clearly FANTISTIC!
I love how some of these jokes aged.
7:47 shouldn't you have said it _totally_ has good cinematography and _totally_ has good music?
Think it’s funny that Ben Tramer had Myers mask same night Myers attacked Laurie and that was her crush. Maybe it was him and Michael got bad wrap
Totally
This movie was first released on home video in 1979 by Media Home Entertainment, and it was the first "Halloween" film to be released on both VHS and Betamax as part of the "MEDA" brand, and it is definitely a collectible if you are a fan of this classic slasher film. This film that I remember when it was first released on VHS had the Media's "MEDA" logo at the beginning of the tape. That lasted until 1981 when it was changed to a "Star Wars" style Media logo and it did appeared on later home video reprints. Here is an example of the "MEDA" logo when it was shown on the first home video release of "Halloween" back in 1979.

Ben Tramer!!
i want to know who taught Michael to drive?
Scott Buckley If 6 is canon, then probably Wynn.
If you pay close attention to the beginning of the film he keeps looking at his arm as he’s doing the things he’s doing
It’s almost as if he’s trying to see if his stabbing game is any good
This was before he had his shit together
You know, Ben Tramer's real name is Bennet Tramer.
Cinema Snob's greatest 'for the hits'
Fantistic series otherwise
14:30 Jesus Christ I’ve seen this movie dozens of times and that’s the first time I’ve ever seen him in the background in that scene
Like totally 🧖♀️
Could you please do a re-upload of silent night deadly night part 2?
Will you do "Trick or tTreat" starring Skippy from Family Ties?
He already did!
40th anniversary. woo
The one thing I wanna know is, if Michael’s been in an institution since he was a child, how does he know how to drive?
@Kevin Xero ehh I’m not sure if he’s supernatural . Granted he does survive things no human should so who knows..
good vibrations
360p - these were bad times
11:00 STILL THE SINGLE BEST KILL OUT OF THE ENTIRE FRANCHISE!!!
I'm still wondering how drunk that cop was that hit tramer
Nice job snob
I love joe bob briggs
It's funny how the "Popcorn" gag predicted The Snowman (2017)
It's kind of funny to me that with the reuploads the Laurie and Nancey joke is now in reverse.
4:28 what's this a referenc to?
