    My beautiful dad died recently and I remember me and my dad back in the day laughing so much at this guy,. Life just flies by. I miss my dad and the times with him. Freddie used to have my dad holding his stomach in laughter. Genius comedian

    I saw Freddie, at the circus tavern, in Essex circa 78. He came on stage, and for 15 minutes, never said a word. He had the audience in absolute stitches. A true comic genius.

    He was an absolute genius with his Elvis songs , he was always bang on with his voice. 75 now and had lots of issues off stage that have all but destroyed him with his wife leaving . He will always be in my fond memories when i was younger.

    In that last clip he held the great Mohammed Ali absolutely spellbound. Unbelievable talent. His humour sadly would not be accepted nowadays but no doubt he was a top notch comic right down to his tippy toes. Rest peacefully Freddie.

    I saw Freddie at the Magnum Leisure Centre in Irvine in the early eighties. I laughed so much I could hardly sit up straight in my seat. Today's comedians couldn't hold a candle to performers of days gone by. Far too much PC.

    Saw Freddy Star.for the first time a few months ago in a clip with Muhammed Ali. I've sinced looked up and watched numerous video's of him and have concluded that, to me anyway, he was one of the greatest and most talented entertainers I've ever had the pleasure of watching .

    In 2019 last week I just happen to run across a video of Freddie Starr, of whom I had never heard until that moment. I was immediately impressed with his stage presence and his talent and I am so sorry to learn of his passing and the scandalous stories that were rampant just prior to his death. I adore comedy and I adore clever comedy which was Freddie's Forte. I regret that I was young and unaware of many things in my younger days one of them being the comedy and stylings and immense talent. Freddie Starr. Rest easy, great man. Respects to you for the laughs
    you gave me when I discovered you just recently and all the joy you gave to so many; all the years before.
