@Seamus Lannon So is it impossible or illegal to have more than one hero in your world Seamus? You obviously like to spread the bullshit online though. So in which copy of the Daily Enquirer did you read that Muhammad Ali was a _"great friend"_ of Elvis Presley's then? You're as bad a liar as Freddie Starr claiming he once met Elvis backstage, or that he used to share a room with John Lennon when they were supposedly on tour together. Seriously Seamus, why bother posting anything at all if all you're going to post are lies?

@@maxineneild7352 Oh Cheeky, your stupidity, spelling, and lack of punctuation is so difficult to make any sense of. Yes, Elvis Presley *was* always one of Freddie Starr's idols. So what? I've never suggested otherwise you cretinous little oaf! I simply pointed out that Starr never met Elvis in his life, backstage or otherwise.
Neither have I ever suggested that Muhammad Ali wasn't another idol of Freddie Starr's. Again, what point are you trying to make? In addition, Freddie Starr wasn't dynamite. You're mixing him up with nitroglycerin combined with additional sorbents. *That's* dynamite you clot! Freddie Starr, or _'Frederick Leslie Fowell'_ as he was known as to the police, was a paedophile, a child abuser, a drug dealer, a woman beater, a burglar, and a thief. And he's not with his idols at all. He's now in a fridge, and will be buried 6ft under at 1pm tomorrow... along with all the other worms and slugs!
And finally, as for Muhammad Ali being good friends with Elvis Presley, once again you're completely wrong my little dullard. I hate to break it to you, but Googling two names does NOT constitute even bad research, let alone any valid research.
Are you really so stupid as to think that just because there are lots of photo's of the two of them together on the internet, it means they were even friends, let alone close friends? You silly silly woman! It's called PUBLICITY you halfwit. I mean seriously, a racist white supremacist Christian from Mississippi being friends with a black Muslim from an ex-Kentucky slave family? What kind of medication are you on Cheeky? Now go away and find yourself a brain!

It's the same for Michael Jackson who was taken to court over these allegations many times but NEVER CONVICTED and NEVER WILL BE.

Yes, he was arrested four times under _'Operation Yewtree'_ which I didn't deny. However it's interesting that you say he was never convicted in that particular case, yet when he tried to sue the Claimant for defamation of character, not only did he lose his case, but the Judge also made a determination that Starr must also pay all the Claimant's legal costs in addition to his own.
The Judge going on to say that Starr *did* do what the Claimant accused him of, but due to the time that had passed since the assault, an informal statute of limitations meant that his conviction could not be secured if the trial had gone ahead. In short, he definitely did it, but she'd left it too late to bring to court. And you think that makes an innocent man do you Dean? What drugs are you on fella?

Compelling and sometimes uncomfortable bit of TV history. Freddie had a speech impediment and he controlled it well not without difficulty. Not many people knew that. Fluent speech not a gift everyone has and many take fluency of speech for granted. When can't express verbal words very difficult indeed.

@@lindacurrie8817 Yeh he clearly has a stutter - a constant lack of verbal fluidity when he talks in a "normal" way. When he is doing an impression or singing or talking in an affected way he is OK though - different part of the brain being used. I guess all his antics were partly a way of covering up his speech impediment that he was probably self-conscious about. He does look like he is on coke here. He had an amazing number of talents though. His verbal mimicry and visual mimicry were astonishing. His impression of the way Ali moved was brilliant.

@@Zooney1 Yes for Freddie fluency off speach was difficult. Do not think speech was a stutter more of hesitant fluency. Nothing worse when cognitive ability unable to express verbal expressions. Freddie found interviews extremely difficult. Freddie singing no problems as lyrics from song words do not require thinking thought process words are their from start to finish. Freddie a beautiful voice. As a comedian again Freddie in control of his abilities to perform and what a genius magnificent funny comedian he was. Will never be another Freddie. To think how he died, no one there very sad indeed. All those celebrities within an Audience With Freddie enjoyed him so much. Silence is golden eh! Do you know if Freddie flown home to receive a well deserved, respectable funeral? Fit for the star he was.

As a visual comedian he is as good as Rowan Atkinson and Norman Wisdom. As an impressionist both verbal and visual he is as good as anyone I have seen. As a impressionist singer he could actually sound really good as well as authentic. Then he was bloody good looking too. The only things he didn't have going for him was the stutter and being short!

_"Running Bear"_ was originally recorded by Johnny Preston in 1960, and written by Jiles Perry Richardson Jr. - also known by his stage name _"The Big Bopper"._ Sadly, Richardson Jr. died in an airplane crash along with Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens just outside Mason City (Iowa) on 3 February 1959. The tragic event was later memorialized in 1971 by Don McLean as _"The day the music died"_ in his hit _"American Pie"._ Here endeth the lesson!
