    Appreciate these tech savvy vids, especially with the Legend. Never change your style of detecting and your in time commentary. Very helpful.

    I really enjoy these technical videos from you. It shows differences in settings and that's what visual learners like me need. Thanks bud. Keep them coming. Appreciate it!

    Sometimes you just don't feel like digging all this trash… For example, yesterday I found a park that was never hunted before. Foil and pulltabs every inch, pennies every feet. After an hour or so decided that I'm not in the mood for that crap, set tone break to 44, pitch tones, and went on in relative silence for 2 more hours. Bunch of quarters and dimes, some pulltabs still (they rang surprisingly high) and 2 silver rings. Someday I'll hunt it for gold, just not now.
    PS: Have a drink every time Paystreak complains about hard ground.

    In my experience, if your pulling lots and lots of clad at some point your going to hit a ring ,I mean a good ring💍 not a junker. Definitely try to focus on were people gather, ie. bleachers and picnic tables. Metal detecting is All about location…. Location location location . If your not hitting good stuff in the park you been hitting.Dont be afraid to jump in the car and scout out some new parks . I’d rather hunt a Virgin park or yard with a Ace 250 then hunt a beat to hell park with any one of these top of the line detectors .

      LG24, tone break 10, 20khz, 9-10 recovery speed....swing fast and dig it all.

  • @metaldetectingqueensland1233

    Only hunting high tones = a very short metal detecting career! Listen to experience!!! If someone's being detecting for 30 years and are still pulling up good finds its because they know exactly what their talking about!!!

    What are your thoughts on AUTO GROUND BALANCE?

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  Před 2 lety

      I usually do not GB. Ground tracking on metal detectors does not work in changing highly mineralized soils every few feet.

      It's like auto gain on his camera, when we can't hear the difference between faint and loud signals. AGB makes sense if you're hunting patches of black sand, or gridding around the tide line. In other words, if you don't have to redo the manual GB every 10 minutes, you'd be better off with the manual GB.
