- Nokta Legend Metal Detector... talking about adjusting tone frequencies to possibly give you a better metal detecting experience? (I'm still learning!) A lot of areas where I am located are absolutely littered with mid conductive targets, here's a setting we can mess with!
Metal Detecting is SWEEEET! Pull tabs are free exercise
You can set your tone breaks as well. For example, a nickel comes in around 26 (VDI) - if you move your tone breaks you can have nickels come in with a high tone, while pull tabs come in at a lower tone. You can save your settings in one of the four user profiles for each mode, so you can make a coin program, a jewelry program, etc..
I have to tell you out of all the metal detecting videos yours are the most informative and great learning. When the Simplex came out I got one of them had a hard time with it then I bought an equinox 600 and that's got a bit of a learning curve and now I bought a Garrett Apex. This spring that's what I'm going to do is learn all three of them like you're doing there I really appreciate your videos.

Makes me want the Legend even more now lol. Simplex was a better choice for me since I’m just coming back but The legend is a must buy for me next year now!

My legend came 2 days ago, after using the vanquish 440 for 2.5 yrs the learning curve was a bit steep. This video is helping me so much Austin. Next up… saving for more coils😂. But this was a tremendous help

i actually appreciate these kind of videos ive, got a gold kruzer but the legend is on my next paycheck list lol
I set one segment to 24, 25, 26 and assign it a high tone. Brings nickels out so they are easier to find. 30 to 40 is not just pull tabs.
Anfibio does the same, every little thing adjustable, can push buttons for 20 min if desired
that's what I want to see, thanks. I have my Deus set up like that, my nickles sound different than pull tabs, and silver gets your attention
How about a detector with a small moving map gps on a switch back and forth screen that records where you have already swept.
I think that actually exists! Lol, they need to make the pull tab slayer machine already. If it would discriminate out pull tabs but still hit gold I would be sold
I think that could be really handy on 60 tone, you could be more specific with the vdi's

Seems like a better way to discriminate your targets, this way you aren't notching crap out, youll still get a tone.
Never notch bro. You will skip targets. Simply set proper tone breaks and lower volume or mute tone breaks you'd rather not hear.

@@SwingThatThingMetalDetecting yeah man, I don't want to miss because of discrimination. But some spots will drive you nuts if you don't have a work around.

Sounds like you have some great info. However, for a beginner, you are going way too fast.
you can only change the pitch sounds on the 800 not the 600 . you can't do it in 60 tones on the Legend

@@TreasureOutdoors no when you go into the advanced setting on 50 tone you can only adjust the tone in t1 and t2 .
@@TreasureOutdoors on the 600 you can only adjust the 1st tone setting the rest stay at default in 5 tone

Really disappointed in this machine.Useless at the beach in saltwater.Was suppose to be better than the competition.Big let down after the build up.Going to have to dig alot of quarters to pay for that one.
I have the equinox and I think the Legend Has plenty of more potential especially with the updates coming My equinox had leaks And coil issues you name it
