I look forward to wandering around in your past content 😊 Have only recently drifted into the Irish whiskys from a fairly Scotch-heavy background. I find them to be a very different offering all together. I wonder how that Connemara would fare in a blind tasting, might give us a whole other outlook on it, 40% not withstanding. Doesn't hurt the old liver to go a bit easier on that ABV now and then! Terribly sparse pickings from the LCBO here in Ontario right now, for just about anything imported from Scotland or Ireland. Hi Marian! I'm so glad you found my channel. Thanks so much for watching and subscribing! Yep, it's slim pickin's with the LCBO, unfortunately. Always makes me sad to learn that some great bottles aren't available for you to try. And the secondary market is ... expensive, to say the least. As a Scotch fan myself, I don't think Connemara would fare too well in a blind tasting of anything from Islay, but I bet against a lower ABV Highland Park or Tallisker, it might do alright. It's certainly nice to sip on at any rate! And you aren't wrong about giving the liver a break with a lower proof. Anyway, thanks again for watching and leaving a note! Hope you're staying warm!
