@@kriswingert1662 that's Teflon tape and silicone I used. I shouldn't assume that people know what I'm putting on. Its like the hot coffee thing I guess.

You should put what you use some of us. Don’t know I’m assuming that that is plumber tape I’m not sure what gel you put on it. You might want to add that.

Nice vid! Clear and easy. What are those fittings called that you had installed to loosen the PVC at the front and the top of the pool pump? Mine are glued in on both sides. I would like to be able to remove my pump and store it during the harsh winter. Thanks.

I have a leak similar to the one you show on your video and my pool guy is saying he may have to replace the housing. Is that possible ?

The ONLY way that the wetend of a pool pump needs to be replaced is, if the threads stripped. This only happens when using hard pipe and plumbing it the same as in the video.

Check the threads on the fitting and the pump. Might be stripped. Mostly likely will be the fitting.

The person who installed my pool pump put blue stuff on the little circle fitting and I can’t get it off. Am I fked?

@@Alie_doe if it's the blue clue, you can get the fitting off still. Might have to use some muscles.
