So you take at least four samples at every job? Curious, how much do you charge for that inspection?

We take at least 4 yes, could be a combination of swabs or air samples. $495 includes all samples and lab fees and shipping.

@@FreedomHomeServicesLLC Thank you. Do you find that you get most of your mold inspections from real estate transactions with realtors in Byars or from the general public calling you?

Most often through real estate transactions.

Gloves and cleaning agents should be part of a kit.

False. We're only collecting samples and those don't require gloves. We don't clean so no cleaning agents required. If the lab wanted these things as a part of their chain of custody, they would require it.

@@FreedomHomeServicesLLC "should be", keeping equipment and accessories clean from job to job avoids false positives and the like. Disposable Gloves and whipes help and are relatively cheap. But what do I know?

@@Tiersmoke92555 The tests are hermetically sealed individually and are kept in ziplock bags until used. The air samples don't take in air without the use of a machine. disposable gloves and wipes are bad for the environment and are not needed in mold/air quality sampling. We don't know what you know, but that's what we know!

@@FreedomHomeServicesLLC there are lots of options for biodegradable gloves and wipes available. I have been in contact with a few of the laboratories available for mail in testing, sanitation of equipment and personal ranks high on their list of essential operations. I'm sorry if my suggestion offended you.

@@Tiersmoke92555 no offense. There’s more than one way to do things in pretty much every area of life and your way may not be our way and that’s ok. We follow our lab’s rules and that’s what is important.
