Thank you very much for your comment!! @danielgrgurevic6122 🙂
Wow it's quite unusual that you'd choose a place you don't have an immediate connection to - I mean, it's very brave of you to move to a country completely fresh like this! Most people I meet here came for a partner or just stayed briefly for studies. In my case, it's the former 😛 Great video, will be keeping up with the next ones!
Hello Erin,
thanks for the kind comment ! Yes we like to go for international experiences. We were indifferent between several other cities and decided for CHP in the end! Best of luck :)
I find it amazing how you guys decided you wanted to move to Copenhagen and just made it happen! Also the vibes of your apartment are great! House tour next? 🤓

Thank you guys for this video. My boyfriend and I are planning to move to Copenhagen from Hungary in September. He has already got a job there and will start in the middle of September. Do you have any advice on finding an apartment quickly? We have been to a few open houses, but unfortunately we were not chosen for those apartments. Finding an apartment seems very difficult at first... It would be nice if you could give us some ideas.
Hello @viktoriawollein5134 , thanks a lot for your comment. We are happy, that you are able to move to Denmark, Copenhagen ! It will be a great experience :-)
We also had a hard time finding an apartment in Copenhagen. Especially the high deposit for some of the flats, where difficult for us back then. In the end we lived in a shared flat, where we had to pay a smaller deposit.
Sorry for the late response ! I hope you found a flat and have had a good start so far !
Hi, thanks for your great video! I wanted to ask: what are the green spaces in Copenhagen like, and what is the countryside around it like? Thank you.
Hello @AINTNOTHINGOINONBUTTHERENT, thanks for your message. Yeah we were able to explore a bit the area around Copenhagen. There is a lot of coast as you can imagine. We have done some smaller weekend camping trips. There are wild-camping spots in Denmark, which was a cool experience. I hope that answers your question :-)
@@claudiaandjan Thank you for your answer ! :-)
Hi guys, thank you very much for the information in this video.
I'm Italian and I also think of Denmark for job opportunities, especially in Copenhagen. In fact I have some reservations, some doubts: 1- obviously I don't speak Danish, so English is enough? 2 - when is the best time to move to denmark? 3 - If someone is not that young, are there much less job opportunities? 4 - Is the search for a job, a rent, with this coronavirus problem, more complicated? In which way? Is the situation more difficult if someone is not vaccinated? or irrelevant? Thenk you and ... bye!
Hi Vito! Thank you very much for your message. We truly appreciate it!
1) English is perfect to move around the city, as well as if you are going to study in a Danish university because many courses (especially in masters) are in that language. However, if you are going to move there for work purposes, companies will probably ask you for Danish, unless you apply for a job in an international company with a global perspective and expat colleagues.
2)There should be no problem looking for a job when you are not that ''young.'' Everyone deserves opportunities and has a lot of wisdom to offer. Create a great VC, show your worth and once you have a goal, don't admit a ''no'' for an answer!
3)Corona is not a big problem in comparison to other countries. When you create your Danish ID, you will be able to do antigen and/or PCR tests in different points of the city and for ''free'' (the money comes from the taxes the citizens pay) whenever you need them.
4)Job and rent are always a challenge. You just need to do your research and persevere :)
We wish you the best in this adventure. And please, if you have any other questions, let us know!
Best regards from us.
@@claudiaandjan Very very kind for your reply, and most importantly thank you so much for the encouragement. I appreciate it. At the moment, veritly, I was thinking about another country, because learning Danish seems a bit difficult to me, so alternatively I would be attracted to Dublin. I will be looking for work in the interior design sector. Is Dublin a good choice, in your opinion?
A big "HI"
@@vitolosciale1201 I'm Danish and I wouldn't believe only speaking English to be a problem. The sector you want to work in wouldn't have a language barrier I'd believe but you'd have to do a bit of background research on the company. Generally speaking the higher paying jobs have very low language barriers when it comes to English.
If you wanna do yourself a favour on the other hand learning Danish as well as possible is always a great idea when moving here. It's simply nice when people try though we know it's very hard.
75 euros / month to go out ? This is what I spend in one night loool. The real experience in Dk is staying more than 3 years, then you will feel the 'real thing' and maybe not be so happy any more .. Danes don't integrate. And you must come from Germany to enjoy Danish pastries ahah. Good job anyways guys ;)
Hello @nonokbh. Thanks for your kind comment ! Yes we tried to be frugal back then, but I agree with you. It is easily possible to spend 75 EUR in a single night. We therefore spent more money on the amazing danish pastries !
Heavily taxed people! Most people ride bikes because they can’t afford to have cars. I lived there in the 1980’s.
