I've only seen a handful of 4 to 5 lb bass caught this season on the Delta. Out of the two CA kayak anglers i follow. G.B. and Damian Tahoe. And these two usually catch 5 Lb bass or bigger every season. Something is different with that Delta this season. Then again it's so huge, you can't break it down. And us with motors, can cover miles in a day. But we're still commited to 10 to 15 miles,or less. I'm more north, so i had a pretty good season, and did great in five out of my eight tournaments. My kayak is in my garage now for the winter. So i can fish through you guys. Time to add new toys. Upgrading my PP-768 J2 Bixpy, to my new NK-300. What a deal on cyber monday. Great video bro. 🛶 🎣 🌊
Greg and Damian are delta pros and can prolly find fish that are non existent 😂

the reason the delta is so different is because of the huge reset it had! a lot of rain this past winter and it created a new delta! You probably caught a lot of 1-2 lbers, like me. but dont get so mad ab it...... bc thats a good thing! we had a really good spawn. And i can guarentee in 5 years you're gonna see plenty of 25 lb bags. i saw plenty of 7,8,8,10 lbers caught... also, Ive talked to plenty of ppl who said the delta 'resets' every 10 years. Patience brotha! It'll be good again! tight lines out there :)
@@isaacgonzaga7852 That's very true, and a lot of people have said that. It's the same with Berryesa. In about two to three years those fish will also be 3 to 4lb's. Just miss those monsters. They're out there, but that Delta is just so huge. But beautiful..💯 😎 🎣

@@PhilSoloFishing It's a huge bummer man, I caught a lot of salmon on my kayak out there at the port. With the amount of water we've had in the last two years, to help the redd beds survive, and the 3-year spawn cycle of salmon, next year could have been epic.
That's a very good spot where your at I caught a 8lb there using a weightless senko and yes the grass is very heavy there

replace your tables with Inline hooks. Catch ration is the same as trebles and EASIER release of fish

That place sucks balls. For the amount of time and effort it takes to lug your Kayak around I’d rather drive an extra half hour to the Delta where I know I’m gonna catch fish 👎👎👎. Yeah you might catch a few but their dinks and not worth the time and effort at Barge canal. The only thing that place is good for is deep water Striper fishing or if you just like to catch dinks. People want to see big fish being caught not little dinks 😂
This is the delta though... You can catch dinks, lunks or skunk anywhere you fish. Try kayaking a lil more up the channel maybe youll find some decent bass! Tight lines out there!
@@PhilSoloFishing that’s Sac River. That part of Sac River is not part of the Delta. The Delta starts at Walnut Grove
@@beastieboy5020 Interesting, Im going by kayak tournaments on the "delta" and boat tournaments they allow you to launch/fish at Port of Sac because its part of the Delta boundary lines but hey you learn something new! 🤷♂
