The genius of "Smoke On The Water" is that it follows very simple chord progressions that become quickly addictive to follow, like a commercial jingle. So many of the most popular songs in history were simple songs to follow.

I've seen a very sharp decline and had many, many conversations about it over bong hits. Once all the bigger labels swallowed up the little indie ones, the level of creative freedom lowered because fewer managers were handling more bands which breeds an environment where efficiency is a higher goal than quality of product. No one takes risks and that's what is missing. True Avant Gard not some poser corporatized version of it. Sorry for the rant.

GOSH! I also do mashups, but by mashing up both the sound AND the video you're taking that stuff to a whole new level! Absolutely brilliant.

I don't understand the 18 dislikes on this video. You did a phenomenal job both with the mixing of the two tracks but also with the visuals. The end was pretty damn funny also. Great work!

So many of these songs are out of my childhood and early adult years, so they have a special place in my mind. It's been a trip to relive them in these unexpected combinations that I would never have believed possible (even less turn out so good). Great job, Bill.

I'm so hooked on these videos!!! I just came across them today, and I'm so blow away. They are done so well, they absolutely could be classics on their own. Really well done. Whoever is doing these knows a whole lot about music composition, structure and theory. Very talented to say the least!!
