Christine McVie & Maurice White are jamming to this in a better place. RIP
I think so too. What's so strange is this was them at their best. Maurice had an incredible voice and Christine wrote this song and sings lead on it.
And Dime is providing accompaniment!
It's not often that a mash-up makes both songs better. This one absolutely achieves that.
September is already a god tier level song so it's almost impossible to improve it but this one tries
I wouldn't say that. The mashup is on the same tier as the originals, which is rare.
@@soapygirl83agree completely
Ummm....
Agreed 100%
Mick Fleetwood's face going through all the stages of enjoying a McClintock mix.
It's so crazy how Christine and Maurices voices sound so good together..this was awesome for real.
1:15 just wow.
There’s a point in the clip where Mick Fleetwood actually catches a glimpse of this future mix greatness and his pupils dilate beyond the infinite
and simply because you mentioned Saint Mick;
czcams.com/video/d_aDjeqVopA/video.html
And also, because cocaine…
Definetly Charlie at work there
It's 1:39. 1:39 is that moment. I know this because, he took me there as well, and oh, my friends, we have such sights to show you
@@TheDude1764 Maybe he got a good drain of something stuck in his sinuses 🎉
I thought this was near perfect. I was wrong. The solo from Dimebag took this straight to pure, distilled perfection.
Perfect articulation for perfection
the dime solo 😳😳
Elie Siegal I thought that was him when I saw the dean guitar, thanks
I finally learned to listen to it b4 reading the comments and getting the cameo solo appearance ruined. Haaaaa
I cant believe I made it this far down the comments before I seen a comment about it.
Holy crap! It works!
Solo matches the song so well,
How did that happen?
This sounds so natural like its not even a mashup at all. Good job!
I agree, it's like a new very enjoyable song :)
Yeah some mashes are a juxtaposition of the this and that. Some are matched to the point of making perfect pop music. If money stuff wasn't involved these would be crushing radio. No idea if it's true but in the " moderately" old days I heard that Cher wanted to use the Echo and the Bunnymen/ Cher mash but Ian bunnymen. Was Purdy about it.
the mountain man they all come from 12 notes... as far as western music which most pop music is dominated by.
Facts even that solo feat Dimebag \,,/
@the mountain man The Song Remains the Same
This is the main reason why God created CZcams.
Why does God need a starship?
This is why God gave us music period!! CZcams has nothing to do with it!!
And btw...Thank You Bill!!
The Professor is in!!
Yeah, and then google goes and fucks it up with advertising!
The Church of Consumerism...
Apart from that: sweet mashup!
I thought Al Gore created CZcams.
I would LOOOOOVE to take some of these mashups back to their respective decades, get a gig as a wedding or carnival DJ, just to see the reactions on the faces of the 'locals'!
63 people don’t like this??!How?!! It’s heaven on the ears
How do you know that? I can't see 63 thumbs down.
I am an old friend of Dime. To see him in this video out of nowhere was really a surprise! And I know he would’ve just loved it!
That injection was damn perfect
It's almost tribute like when he adds a badass guitar solo from one of the greats.
I had to do a double take, I thought it was frank zappa for a second. It's still early in the morning, wheres my coffee!.
And when the Pantera guitar solo was thrown into the mix I knew my life would never be the same
What i'm most impressed with in all your mashups is how you manage to mix it so nothing sounds "wrong"..
Like when you expect to hear a certain chord in the original song, you make sure whatever's playing fits well enough to make it sound ok.
For instance, in this one, when they sing "Ba de ya, say do you remember", the background chords the listener expect to hear are different in the original song when compared to the new one, but what they hear is close enough to not sound wrong. This is one of those things that alot of other mashup "artists" fail at, releasing songs that could be great but where there's several times where things just sound "off". But not you.. Your mashups are on a completely different level.
Keep up the great work.
I've found DJ Cummerbund to do the same where needed, and while I've yet to do a mashup that required me to tune individual notes, I certainly would. It just makes me cringe when I hear sour notes in mashups.
@@DJCosmicLatte/videos There's one thing to tweak a note if it really needs it, but i feel DJ Cummerbund has gone a completely different way with it. He's tweaking everything, making the artists sing/play a completely different song.
What I enjoy (and again, this is my personal opinion) is mashups where the original "sound" of the different songs are kept as much as possible. Sure, they may be shifted up or down to fit the other song or have a tone or two "tweaked", but they still sound like you remember them sounding.
Take DJ Cummerbund's "all i want for christmas" video. When you first hear Mariah Carey sing, it becomes clear that he not only changed one or two things.. he reworked her entire audio track to something completely new. That's just taking it too far (again, in my opinion).
Thankfully, Bill doesn't take things that far.. :)
@@Nordorf I feel DJ Cummerbund is more of a comedic experience, Bill's are more authentic/musical, for lack of a better way to describe it. Both are really great but I tend to prefer one over the other depending on what mood I'm in. DJCB really goes all out to make the music work so he doesn't have to scrap a good idea, and that's appreciated.
But a sour note can really ruin an entire mashup for me, too, so I've often had my favorites and stuck with them, like Wax Audio, DJs from Mars, and now these two.
Great analysis. VERY well put.
It requires either a knowledge of music theory, or a really good ear. The backing chords in the chorus of "September" are in F# minor, while the chords for this song are in A, which is the relative major of A minor.
The Merlin of mashups.
Straight Wizardry
I'd put that on a resume. Instant hire.
now this should be emblazoned on a platinum staff in Mr McClintocks studio.
It's insane how melancholic this becomes with that instrumental underneath. This would be perfect for having the windows down and the sunroof popped doing 85 on an open highway at sundown.
This one is my favorite.
With the Dime solo out of left field for perfection 👌🏻
Bill is a mad genius. His mind needs to be researched by science to see how he comes up with such masterpieces that sync up perfectly.
This wasn’t just amazing. It is simply beautiful. Yeah. I said beautiful.
"A wild Dimebag Darrell appeared! He used SOLO! It's super effective!"
Amazing reharmonization of September.
That's what sold me on making this one. First time I heard the chorus of both songs together I got goosebumps.
@@BillMcClintockMashups Snap !!

THANK YOU, CHRISTINE MCVIE!!!!!
Oh. My. God. To hear Maurice White's isolated voice like this just simply brings a tear to my eye. I assume there's some sort of digital magic used to isolate the vocals; but they all come out sounding so clean that it's much easier to hear all the vocal nuances in this mashup versus the original EWF track which is loaded with dance beats. Amazing. Bravo!!
There are computer programs that can isolate the stem parts of a song. Vocals, drums, guitars.
@@briancantale8930 That but also there's actual multitrack stems floating around on the web.
It's not just the music, it's syncing it to the video. Take two songs that are legendary in and of themselves and create a new meta-masterpiece. Genius.
Love how the keys of both songs compliment each other and create a completely different vibe.
2:50 Mick Fleetwood thinking about the good times he had in September
This mashup makes both songs so much better. I had to listen again after hearing the sad news today, RIP Christine McVie.
it's incredible how dimebag's solo fits so well in this song... so natural that you can't call it a mashup if you don't know original music
CZcams: "Would you like to see the new Bill McClintock mashup?"
Me: Breaks finger and screen trying to say yes quicker
Sounds more like you opted for the "harder" version, instead... ;)
Fleetwood Mac's chord progressions beautifully elevate the song and send it into the stars.
I think Bill is an alien from a musical mash-up dimension.
This is heavenly... Enough to bring a tear to your eye. Three legends gone too soon taking centre stage ❤️
After about a thousand listens, it still touches my soul.
A notification about a new Mashup from Bill is like Christmas all over again.
Specially 10 minutes after a court hearing
THE ultimate DJ and music that addresses the question of what music shall we play at the school reunion..
2:15 That Dime bag Solo pits so nicely. R.I.P metal King 👑
The crazy reharmonizations you create really turn these melodies on their heads in an awesome way
There's not one moment in this mashup that doesn't intertwine perfectly. It's like butter. Genius!
If Bill McClintock was a baseball player, he would have the greatest batting average EVER. All he does is make hits.
The person having the best time at any Fleetwood Mac concert is clearly Mick Fleetwood!
Wow. Amazing work dude
The perfect unification of music
I think September should be the worldwide anthem of mankind. It's a perfect song.
The art of sampling has risen above the stratosphere. Congratulations, a new art form. Genius.
All I can say is THANK YOU MR. MCCLINTOK for bringing these mashups into our world. You are amazing😊
DAMN, THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL.... I BEG YOU, BILL, PLEASE NEVER STOP......
Ernie's balls agreed
Yes pls continue we need this
If you want to of course
This was a pretty big hit for EWF. However, it doesn't even come close to this masterpiece. This version would still be in the top ten today...
This.........changes........everything!
I’ve run out of compliments and superlatives to describe what Bill does. They don’t give him his just due that he deserves!!
My better half’s birthday is Sept 21st. Fleetwood Mac is one of my favorite bands. He just got me baby goats. This song’s for him.
I could watch Mick play drums forever
Hope you, your partner and your goats are having a blast!!! Baaaa!!

@@azsunburns Aww. I hope you continue to have a great time!! Give them each some for love from me. 👍🤗
And the guitar solo is by Dimebag Darrell of Pantera?
Are you freaking kidding me?
This goes way past mashup and musical talent and a "good ear" all the way into the Uncharted Territory of MAGIC!
Unreal - Thank you, Sir!
Mick Fleetwood's crazy eyes are off-putting during this funky glorious mash-up!!!
I can’t express how much I love this! I DJ and could play this at gigs.
I was thinking the same thing. I didn't think you could take such an iconic and familiar song like "September" and get away with it. I was totally wrong. I think there are for sure crowds that would love this.
That second verse into the chorus was money!
This one gave me goosebumps
Give Sir McClintock a grammy. the Nobel Peace Prize, and the golden buzzer for every mashup he makes
2 of the greatest bands of all time together ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love how it looks like they're all on One mighty stage performing together! And the great expressions on Mick's face!! Awesome!
The Pantera solo helps maintain a Soul-Metal categorization. Excellent song!
if aliens watched this, they would visited us

As soon as I heard about Christine McVie's passing, I was reminded of this. Now it serves as a fine tribute to her as well as the late Maurice White. Seems you picked the right time to make this, knowing well what little time was left for the Fleeties. And I'm sure FM fans would be delighted with this if they took some time to watch and listen.
RIP CMcV 🎹🎶
Two greats, made into an even better one.
This is three legendary bands brought together...dont shortchange the dime.
The two chorus' mashed together is a truly beautiful thing ✨
Incredible. The perfect way you brought Ms. McVee into the song I was anticipating it like a kid waiting for the ice cream truck. Man you delivered that perfect blend. These 2 melodies are so rich and textured. Yet you found a way to once again to improve upon greatness. Beautifully done. ❤
and the solo comes exactly where it is needed. Classic Bill.
Every mashup you do is a thing of beauty. And witchcraft, probably. =P
I'd say Black Magic
Haha
I just discovered this channel today and I'd have to say that I'm extremely impressed by this person's skills to beautifully mash-up songs so perfectly! Even better than some artists who do their own song remixes! Top notch and one of the best on CZcams for sure!
*Fakan* You Said It! Thing of Beauty For Sure^^
@That's right!!! I believe the term is warlockery lol
I heard Bill had to take his computer down to the crossroads to make a deal for these abilities.
Bill’s creations should be called Blend-ups, because there’s nothing forced about them. That blend of the two choruses gave me goose bumps!!!
So what Bill had broken here is THIS is the original song and it gave birth to TWO songs of its own❗
You have to be kidding me here Bill🔥
Only one word does this crossover justice: Seamless.
That chorus is total magic!
I'm gonna shed a tear dude
This is what you hear in the car ride to heaven.
Both songs bring back childhood memories of Cape Cod........time for a trip !!!!!!!!!
Mick Fleetwood had the cocaine-est facial expressions of all time.
a couple of times a week, i would listen to the originals.... now i just bang these... thank you bill..
Unironically enjoyable
Can you imagine? You hear two songs and think, Wait a minute.....!
Then you blend these two songs like a Grand Wizard meticulously together and create a new song that is even better than the originals.
I take my hat off to you, sir; this mashup has to be the best I have ever heard.
2:16-2:32 brought a tear to my eye. Bill you are a genius !! 🤘❤🤘
🌟✨🌟 BUT HOW.... do these keep getting better and better and better with each creation.?? 🎸🎤🏆🎤🪕 2:17 the Dime solo... 🙏🏻 R..I.P. 💫
James Mason I agree. I was jamming like a mad man, as I always do to the mash-ups but Dime took this to a whole other level. 😥
I cracked up at 1:39 at that expression on Mick's face - glad I wasn't sipping me mornin' tea!
The guest star guitar soloist is always my favorite part of Bill's work. (RIP Dime Bag)
That strangely made sense and was fun to listen to.
Dimenag was a beautiful touch!
I feel the urge to drive by an unsuspecting group of Boomers, blast this from my car stereo and confuse the hell out of them.
I play these mashups for my boomer dad and he is greatly conflicted.
Until this mashup you probably never heard of either song or band. Stay in your lane.
