- Have you been accused of being a fabric hoarder. Well I am not a fabric hoarder, I am a doomsday prepper. We need fabric in our prepper stashes. And a treadle machine would be another great addition.

My husband supports my doomsday prepping so much he even got me a treadle sewing machine so I can sew when the electricity is out.😂❤

I have 2. My aunt n grandmother left me theirs. A Singer and a Minnesota. Both work and the Minnesota has a spool holder, way above the machine. And my grandmother left me her 1963 electric Singer(pepto bismo pink) in a blonde cabinet, I made some blocks on it, still in great shape(electric).

I have 3 shelves of fabric and my husband thinks I have too much fabric. Ha ha ha. Never enough never! I show him your fabric and try to explain to him that I have hardly any fabric. Non quilters will never see or understand .

Lol, I never thought of it that way! Also have a singer treadle, but hub got it for me for use in hurricane season 😂 neither rain nor snow will stop my quilting. I have patterns and french curve rulers too, so more than ready to walk the doomsday catwalk at the end of times. ❤

I have the same train of thought. One can never have too many quilts in case of a rainy (or wintry) day without heat source. I even have a treadle machine in case there’s no power. Nothing wrong with being prepared.

Lol I have 10 machines, 15 jars of buttons, thread of just abut every color and over 200 patterns in sizes newborn to 5 xl. Plus patterns to make other stuff. Plus quilting books. Plus about 400 yards of fabric. Its my post Doomsday trading currency.

I sometimes makes quilts with scarps, which causes more scaps....help me please😂 i make scenery quilts, im not doing anything that requires, staying in the lined. Lol
If i got rid of my fabric i could pack my stuff in my car, no problem.
