“Diversity”? Might be nice…or sometimes, maybe not. I mean, it’s certainly not my music but I’m willing to listen. But why is it always automatically “beautiful”? I mean, we’re all adults; Are we NOT ALLOWED to dislike it?
@@christopherp.hitchens3902 when I was much younger my favorite band was the Beatles they were new to America and I fell in love with them. No other music band was on my mind. Everything was Beatles Beatles Beatles Beatles Beatles. Now that I’m in my 70s I have seven favorite bands. I don’t limit myself to saying that my favorite band is… The 1975. Because I also equally love Joywave, Ghost and three other bands. I became a metalhead at the age of 69 years old… it is my favorite genre of music. When I was in my early 30s I would ask my nephew how the hell can you listen to music like that. He was listening to iron maiden and Metallica. Now I absolutely love them also. My best advice is don’t just zone in on one person or one band because you’re not doing yourself a favor. I can love Taylor Swift and I can love Mariah Carey just as much and maybe even Kelly Clarkson equally as much. That is my advice to young people.😊
