Ive always thought it was weird why people who dont understand english would listen to UK/USA music if they didnt understand the words, well this guy has proved to me why people do it, i dont know what he`s singing about , but this is pure soul and thats all that matters.

Its because, like with rock and jazz, it.started in English and if you like the artist or.the.band, you dont care.the language, but still we.have now those genres.in Spanish,.and good ones. Now Ive been watching reactions of US and UK about argentinean rock bands in Spanish and they are so surprised.how good they are. In hispanic Latinamerica.we have.always listened to specially Italian artists, besides.hispanics and Brazilians in portuguese and of.course English language artists. Some french music also but usuallyhave been translated into Spanish and performed.by latin artists, while in Italian we usually listened to the italian artists.that sing in both languages. Did know that My Way is originally a french song, but the lyrics are.different.
Also now.with KPOP in Korean even you guys dont pay so much attention to the language but you like the bands. We listened to music from other countries before the internet,.but nowadays even the anglo speakers who were not used to that are getting used to that, because music is universal.

i moved to mexico 5 years ago and didnt know this guy was mexican , i heard him singing tennessee whiskey for the very first time like 6 months ago and i thought it was weird to hear some country music in this block , i thought it was a gringo neighbor and then i heard him speaking spanish to introduce his next song and heard his name. maaaaaan he can sing and he has a bright future ahead.
Hi, here in Hermosillo, Sonora where Carín is from and where he studied Music and starts his career, there are a lot of Tribute bands playing Country, Blues and English Pop hits, so, its normal to hear everywhere English songs played along with Banda, Ranchero and Pop Music in Spanish.
