EVERY BODY TRIES BUT FEW SUCCEED IN LIFE . This is the reality of life "JOO JITAA WO HEE SIKANDAR "
What a story......
This is how I want to remember my Pakistan to be … land of beautiful people !Not the hoodlums they show on tv in the name of religion and politics. Great work sir 👍🏽
What an amazing story, what an amazing narrator. Bravo!
That old house is very near to my home. i pass by that place everyday. There is also a graveyard adjacent to it, which i always feel like is a place where so many dreams and ideas and ambitions are buried. I never thought in old homes, there are dreams and ideas and ambitions are buried in still living people. What a sad reality.
True. I was wondering where Professor Marks would have been buried. Perhaps in the graveyard you mention. I should stop there sometime and check this out.
Professor's story has made me cry. A gem of a person who carried bad luck.
Very sad story.
Dear sir, Mr Marks seems to have travelled in a beautiful, but somewhat dellusional journey. It would have been so revealing if you could have requested him to share a few verses from his poems? There are scores of gems buried in our country’s soil but nurturing them requires the appropriate milieu. Thank you for sharing. May Allah bless his soul.
13:40 In 70's, while in school, we use to travel to Lahore by train, and I remember seeing the PECO factory from train, that you are talking about.
Salman Rashid saab ka badhiya vivechan...aapka dhanyavaad
"Bhowani Junction" starred Ava Gardner and Stewart Granger , the movie was produced in 1955-56 and released in 1956 (based on John Master's 1954 novel). A number of Pakistani army units assisted in the movie's production in Lahore.
Amazing story Salman Saheb
حقیقت اور خواب کے درمیان کی چھوٹی سی لائن کو آپ نے بہت خوبصورتی سے بیان کیا ہے
Thanks a lot for this great narration
Yes, Sir, I have also met that gentleman in the late 90s. I also attended the documentary about "Professor" in the HRCP auditorium at that time. He was really a different man with 'different' ideas. Thanks for remembering such a Free Soul.
Such a splendid story. Can you talk Farjad Nabi into uploading the film "No one believes the professor " on CZcams? If its ok with him?
I'll ask him.
There is a video uploaded on YT about profeesor sb when he was in Old Home some years ago .
Oh? I had no idea.

I remember having read his interview in some newspaper. I don't remember much but the anecdote about Ava Gardner stayed with me.
Other than Farjad's film on him, I was the only one to have written about Prof Marks. It appeared in The News on Friday.
@@salmanrashid8880 It must have been your article then. And that particular story stayed with me because I'd always found Ms. Gardner exceedingly beautiful.
That she was. @@JamilAkhtarPhotography
I am reminded of TS Eliot's essay on Tradition and the Individual Talent.
BTW, the "Argo" was the shop of Jason and his Argonauts; not of Odysseus. Homer did not name Odysseus's ship in his tale.
BECO was started from badami bagh. My uncle was working there.
Thank you, sir. I did not know this.
My teacher professor orpheus ❤😢
Mr Rashid, it's a joy to listen to you sir. Amazing. 👍

6:08 Prof. Amir Ali's English translation of Quran, is considered to be the best.
Only two types of people live the happiest, the heartless and the brainless.
Marcus Aurelius should have been more wise.
❤ sir you have got a marvelous sharp memory and above all knowing the art of story telling backed by buck of deep knowledge of the particular subject , it's all a Allah's gift to you
You are very kind. Thank you. 🙏
Waiting anxiously "Professor"
lost in a Roman wilderness of pain ,and all the children are insane
You are a great story teller, my Lord❤ you can make any one laugh or cry equally.
Thank you, sir. Vaisay, it was the great one and only Mushtaq Ahmed Yusufi sahib who had this gift of making you laugh and cry on the same page.

I know him his works but you are uniquely matchless. Stay blessed.😻

ONE GENERAL FAZAL RAZIQ WAS THE ELDER BROTHER OF GENERAL FAZA RAZIQ (REMAIN GOVERNOR KPK IN ZAI PERIOD)WAS REMAIN CHAIR MAN WAPDA
A Greek tragedy. Like his name.
Truly! I forgot to mention that he had taken to long distance running also in the 1950s. His spikes were still there.
19:05 only a handful of people are aware of this movie, today.
Already liked as usual..
Ustaad JII Apne end PE teaser dia FARJAD NABI, ye sahab k biography PE xra Roshni daliye ga!
#apko tasali se sunany samjny wala bit crazy shaagird!

Farjad Nabi started out as a journalist in the 1990s. He turned to film making. His most famous venture was Pakistan say zinda bhag. I think it is banned. You can search for him on Google.
@@salmanrashid8880 ustaad ji thanks alot for your reply I did search little bit at my side and also couldn't find NOBODY BELIEVES PROFESSOR on CZcams! 😐😞
Aap ke khiyal me ye sahib hoshmand insaan the ya phir neem pagal type ke the
sad. Pakistan is a wait we shouldn't wait to jump out of
This was sad. we should not to be bogged down by it though. God forbid if Mr Marks has passed away, you've performed "shraadh" for a "anaath aatma" by narrating his story in such a charitable manner. 🙏
He has indeed passed away. And he was in every way an anaath atma.
