Loved it then, love it now, Thank You Joe.
Felix has soul. What a history.
Perfect song to hear at the moment!
THIS NEEDS WAY MORE THAN 114 LIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joe we open up with this tune for years and years just loved the damn thing we never had key boards so i played the bridge on my dirty old Gibson and knocked it out of the park each time and got the ending in time and on time always.. Yeah yeah yeah yeah.. Thanks Joe.
So many songs by Felix and the Rascals became part of Americana. Their music helped define America and America’s music in that wonderful time period. The music of a generation! And it STILL stands the test of time.
Man, if you don't feel this, you must be gone.
Sensational band!
What a player. Thanks Joe
These old tunes are timeless. Sounds good!
First time hearing Felix singing Good Lovin' with the horns doing the accents. Best version yet. He's still got it.
Great, congratulations!
I like this arrangement better , lol , the man still got it goin on .
once again. out of the park!!
Glad you liked it Andy…. We will put two more songs up from Felix’s 2019 induction concert over the next two weeks. Best, Joe
That song sounded so good being played on the Wurlitzer Jukebox at the Hangout...Gulf Shores, Alabama. Barefoot dancin'.
I remember this playing on The Ed Sullivan Show watching on our black and white television with manual channel selection, meaning you had to get up and change the channel. LOL 😂
I still love the hearing it from The Dead
There's a video somewhere on youtube with Felix sitting at an electric piano talking about and singing some of those great Rascals songs. It really is incredible to hear - Felix sounds just as good as he did back in the glory days. He's an icon. Thanks for this performance, Joe. 💜✌️
Thanks for watching Paul…Joe
Thank you, Joe, for this clip with Felix Cavaliere's Rascals that brightened my day in such a marvelous way.
Thank you too Dominique….Joe
So good the Rascals were so good.
I remember being a rock and roll only fan in those days. Then heard the Rascals, a taste of Motown and loved them.
Luv ya ! Really for what u r doing. Being hooked on the thang since 1963!!!!
WOW!!!!!
Way cool Joe. I loved that. 👍🏻😎
🔱🎶 Remarkable times all thru’ the 1960’s 🥴🎵🎭🎩🪄 #TheYoungRascals🎵🔱
Hi Joe, As always another awesome great video. I always look forward to your videos. I hope you are doing well. Stay well & safe. God Bless.
The Rascals were a group that surprised me in their migration from a basic garage band approach to one with a little more finesse. How Can I Be Sure was where I started to recognize it. A little accordion on the backing track and nuances in the vocals.
Wow!
🎵 ‘The Rascals’ were one, ‘hard-ass’ working band !!!🥊🥊🎶😎🍷 #NYC #ThanksJoe
When he counted off and the band kicked in, I got that chill thru my body,,,,you know the feelin, great video Joe, I will be coming by to see you when I come to see Marty Stuart and the gang at the Ryman in June !
See you then Tom. Thanks……Joe
This was way overdue in 2019. Felix was fantastic in all ways music. hj

@@MusiciansHallofFameMuseum I certainly will.
What a great version ! Thanks, Joe for bringing these to us.
Love the Hammond B-3 !
Wow, they are still so good. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Thanks.
Where was Eddie Brigati? I guess like most groups there was in-fighting and things couldn't be reconciled? I don't know the story (if any). I remember buying their cassette "Once Upon a Dream" (circa 1969ish?). My favorite track was "A Rainy Day" an underrated track. "Silly Girl" was great, and then there was "Sattva" where Felix (I think) is playing sitar. I think it was George Harrison who introduced the instrument to rock via the Indian guru they were seeing at the time. The Rascals were true blue-eyed soul brothers and I had forgotten about them until I heard them on The Sopranos. I didn't recognize the hairless Felix here. Keep Groovin.
ONCE UPON A DREAM was amazing! A few years ago I got hold of a CD version. My brother borrowed it and broke it! I am still mad. A Rainy Day was my favorite.
Also want to say to Mr. Chambers that I am so happy to have found this channel. The history of this music must not be allowed to die.
