      I mean if you use it after workouts long enough you associate it with the endorphins you get from the gym. The protein shake I drink currently everyone I know hates. But I've almost got a nostalgic attachment to it. Even the smell can make me feel good hahh. It's milk based though. And why harm an animal when there is a choice not too. • @shannonblack1394
      @shannonblack1394 Před 2 lety +3

      If I'm not mistaken, you need other amino acids to help digest the other amino acids appropriately and pea protein in a little low on another amino acid.. So you may need to supplement with those other particular amino acids to improve the digestibility of the leucine and pea protein, otherwise a percentage of the other amino acids won't digest and just pass through your system. There is an interesting video on CZcams called "when is protein not protein". Take a gander to at least get you to ask the right questions.

    Whey protein is high in tryptophan compared to glycine, which in high doses leads to inflammation and liver damage. You need to balance this out by taking protein high in glycine such as from bone broth or chicken legs. A less disgusting way to get protein with a higher glycine to tryptophan ratio is to consume plant proteins such as pea protein.

    Also one thing to keep in mind is 30g of whey protein powder has 24g of protein, whereas 30g of pea protein powder has 22.7g of protein. So per gram you’re getting less protein from the Pea. As long as you get enough protein there’s no difference between pea and whey, there’s nothing magical about whey. I’d say this study didn’t take this into account for the people taking the pea protein, so by default people consuming the pea were getting less protein per scoop which effected the outcome.

      To be technical, no. Add quinoa. Every body's metabolism is different. It is important to know that. Environmental factors as well as genetics play an important role but really, do not sweat the small stuff. I weigh 220 @ a hair under 6' for half the year, very little fat and I consume no animal products, well except for when I have a poptart relapse now and again during the winter. Add as many varieties of plant based protein sources as you can and always keep food on hand, seeds, fruit and vegetables. Never be hungry. Eat before you are hungry. My experience may be different as I added on quite a bit of muscle mass during my teen and early 20's years by eating animal products while training. Good luck and just say "No" to animal products.

    Eating humans: I recently learned that there is a higher probability of contracting prion disease by eating human flesh which will kill you and is transferable through saliva as well as eating meat inflected with a single prion. The disease can be transferred to offspring. The whole movie thing (Book of Eli) about people with the shakes as an indicator that they ate humans is probably true.

It aslo depends on the type of training that you are doing.. there are different training processes both for muscle building or strength training .... Yea but if you are a newbie to Gym you will experience both strength and muscle massive development till some time... Aslo termed (newbie gains) ........ Pea Protein is your go to supplement if you are lactose intolerant or vegan... You will get very similar effects.... And if you are still want suppl mention for strength you can go for Creatine supplementation.

      a. increases metabolic rate
      b. anti inflammatory
      c. good for general health
      This video is about how to choose the best protein TO BUILD MUSCLE you sad moron. You and the 7 people that up voted your comment dont have a brain between you. NEver did he say that protein fights fat because protein alone does not, hopefully you are already aware pf this
