Primary prevention is completely different buddy - mainstream meds only advise cholesterol lowering strategies in secondary prevention. But since you mentioned it people living into to 100 have naturally low LDL out of treatment.
Male, 20s, I tried to argue with my life insurance provider's assessment that my high LDL made me an insurance liability. I have perfect blood pressure, resting heart rate in the 50s, almost no excess fat on my frame, but they latch onto that one marker and almost triple my life insurance premium from "healthy" baseline. Clown world.
Pfizer is so smart to invest & buy a pharmacy company handling cancers. It is a very good strategy to make a money making troubles and selling drugs to their intended customers.
I just wish people wouldn't 'hone in' on things. It's 'home in'. To hone is to sharpen.
This is what drives me crazy, every so often there is a study released that contradicts the last one…i.e. eggs are bad eggs are good, cholesterol is a sign for heart issues then it’s not. The medical system needs to het their sh!t together, can you please create a medical non-pharma funded group/organization to research topics to get to truth because lets be honest we all know pharma funded studies result in result being taking their drug for remainder of your life.
Don't count steps. Go walk 15-30 minutes away from your house then turn around and WALK home. The average person will burn thru their glucose supply in a 30 minute walk. Walking does everything jogging does for you except without all the issues sprinting does to your body that jogging does. Drs don't prescribe walking because they don't get paid for that prescription
I stay on a dirt road and work from home..seen a tik tok about sitting all day is not good..I started walking my dirt road and now I’m addicted, I lift weights 🏋🏾♀️ as well and walk about 7-8,000 steps a day..I’m aiming for at least 9-10,000..that’s if I can walk my road again in the evenings..great info ℹ️
So by this logic. Mr Olympia competitors should live past 100. Instead what we see is the higher the body mass including muscle mass especially the earlier death. Real world results
btw, i had been trying to raise my HDL, but exercising almost everyday just didn't do the job for 2 years till when i started taking Oliver oil in the morning, my HDL popped !! Then my Triglyceride / HDL ratio dropped considerably!!
i agree what u said. My body check doctor asked me to emergency when he saw my LDL at 103.4 . I asked him why and asked him " do u look at my HDL and Triglyceride / HDL ratio ? He in the age of 75, he said no. This was a few yrs back already. I felt great at those numbers actually and i refused to take statin or aspirin( which dilutes my blood and causes bruises to my limbs when i played sport). It however prompted to me to watch my resting heart rate and recovering heart rate all the time. So I have been that in the past 5 years. My resting heart rates has been 45-55, my recovering heart rate within a min has been about 30 to 40 pulses from the high exercise. And i m 65. I feel that lowering Triglyceride is more important than LDL.
This guy may be right but his badly prepared review is such a mess I’ve no confidence in his opinion. I’m going to find someone a lot brighter and better organised

I have a high LDL always have. I had a coronary CT angiogram which showed absolutely no plaque. I've always eaten low carb fresh prepared food. I only eat out if food is good quality and fresh. I am 73 and a retired doctor. My only problem is SVNRT which is inherited causing my heart to race. I was prescribed a statin and a beta blocker but haven't taken either. In fact my medication review recently I had to defend my right to say no. I tried to tell patients and colleagues this information 20 years ago. No one wanted to listen. I am very pleased this info is out there now. I requested Insulin levels 20 years ago on patients and Hba1c and was laughed at. Now Hba1c is routine and I just wish insulin was done. I can get insulin levels on my horse easily. This is crazy.
شكر مايك لدي استفسار رجاء أنا في حيرة من أمري قبل عام بدأت معي اعراض ما قبل السكري وعملت حمية مع رياضة مدة شهرين وتحسن الأمر معي لكني فقدت الكثير من الوزن انا طولي 1.67 ووزني أصبح 50 كغ وعانيت من تساقط الشعر بدأت بعدها بتناول أكل متوازن لاستعادة وزني لكن من ثلاث أشهر بدأ السكر في الارتفاع من جديد ووزني أصبح 46 كغ لقد تحطمت نفسيتي السكر التراكمي 5.4 طبيبتي قالت لي لا أستطيع إعطاءك الميتوفورمين لأنك ستنحفين أكثر وتركت لي الأمر الآن لا أعرف ماذا أفعل أردت تناول مكملات البربرين لكنها تنحف أيضا أما inositol لا أدري ان كان سيساعدني حقا لان لدي تكيسات في الثدي وخفت ان ينقص وزني أيضا لا أدري ماذا أفعل حتى أجنب نفسي خطر الاصابة بالسكري نصيحة رجاء

People with size 18 foot size and larger are linked to increase risk of diabetes and heart disease. They can exercise as they get older do to clumsily walking. You can link anything to anything. It’s all about the money steering any study released

Get your passport if you have medical problems this country is about money period, pills and procedures and you will never see a cure for anything in this country ever again.
we already know this from people who are disabled and can't walk from birth. they all have metabolic diseases earlier in life and higher risk of cancer -my personal theory is lymph system is not working optimally form lack of movement in addition to lower muscle. Protein on its own doesn't build muscle. using muscle builds muscle. Too low protein will impact immune system which is also a problem in nursing homes and disability care homes where protein is very very low.

Most women avoid muscle building exercise, meat, eggs and other protein, they are sucked in by the plant based crap. Also, most of the inmates in nursing homes with alzheimers and frailty are women.
