Is there a video test grow showing this Ceramic 600w HPS vs a Regular 600wHPS?
I run two of these systems in a 4 X 8 tent with phenomenal results. Oil production has increased notably. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Can u please add video to CZcams not one video of anyone growing with it.u would be the first.
Yo how did this do in the 4x8?? Now they have a de 1000 ceramic hps I may just get 2 of these for my 4x8
@@cliffordstrong5891 I just got two of them for my 4x8 myself I was thinking about putting a 400 w in the center of the two and have him some serious right overlap I have 400 watt, analog. ceramic metal halide is what I would use in the center. Right now I have three 400s and switch up between the ceramic metal halide, metal halide, HPS and 10,000 Kelvin metal halide and use UVB T-5 light bulbs around the perimeter of the HIDs. And during the early grow run regular veg t-5 bulbs in order to help the perimeter bud and grow better

Since then I've changed my whole style up now I dropped down to (1) 4x8 flood and drain table with a 70 gal res running aqua flakes line,now here's where my game changed instead of growing out 8-10 bushes for 3 months supercropping and all that trellis netting before flower (another 2-3 months depending on strain) now i have 2 mother plants in which I take 140 6" clones put them in my aqua cloner till the roots are about 10" (takes about 8-10 days) then pick the best looking 128 clones my table is set up with 128 6" net pots with hydroton and a single 24" metal plant stake in the middle of each one I veg for 7 days and then flip to flower , no training just minimal fan leaf trim through out and I cut any side branching so by the end of flower the strain I run takes about 70 days I have 128 main colas and then start again so from 1 4x8 I'm yeilding a healthy 4 - 4 3/4 lbs like clock work every ,80 days start to finish and I'm literally feeding around 400-550 ppm tops throughout oh yeah and my lighting lol your gunna love this I have 3 600 watt raptors about a foot from the canopy because they run so cool obviously you know about par and all that so with my lights that low with no burn it almost equivalent to 1000s that are 3 feet away from canopy ... Anyways sorry I'm high as a kite !!! Keep on killing it and LEGALIZE TOMATO'S 🍅 LMAO 🤣
Love this light-have two of them-jus lik the pleasant warm light-good for people as well as plants. At one time both GE and Westinghouse made lights similar to this Hortilux bulb in 250W and 400W HPS. Ge version “Deluxe” and Westinghouse 250W “comfort” lamps. HPS lamps 9th shorter arc tubes that gave a whiter light than a traditional HPS light.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. We just got some test results back from a commercial customer who said his "oil potency" levels increased by 11% when he did a side-by-side running 24 600w single ended HPS lamps vs. 24 of these fixtures. Looks like the spectrum is helping plants produce more essential oils. They're going to put out a white-paper in the next month or two on GrowersNetwork.org. Stay tuned.
I can also say that these produce insanely sticky bud, The theory I heard was that the intense ultraviolet from the 3500k in veg excites hormones that produce more oil as a kind of sunscreen. I would recommend to anyone who goes CMH to buy both the veg and flower bulb spectrums, at 10,000 hours its worth the extra money.

@@engell3707 Yes. I swap out bulbs at first sign of pistols. I've put five crops through this kit so far, just replaced the CHPS bulb (easy online). Spectrum like no other too.
so its pretty much a "White" high pressure sodium lamp, they been making these for a long time!!
Why does my brand new but built in 2018 it's 2022 now SE600 IS ceramic high pressure sodium ballast/bulb only make the bulb flash and then go dead when I try the 115 volt line to plug in. I plug it into my 230 volt light controller and the thing comes on and works perfectly fine? Why what's going on why does it not work for the 115 it's supposed to work for the 115 it came with a hundred and fifteen volt line what's going on here this is the second one I got that's doing the same exact thing?

Nate here. Yes, in retrospect I should have turned it on. We filmed this video at about 8:30pm after a 12 hour day of working. I think I need to better outline my videos before I shoot them. To be honest, for the most part, I don't often plan our videos as much as I should, and many of them are done in one take. I'm going to start outlining our videos a bit more from here on out to make sure I don't omit important aspects. I appreciate the constructive criticism.

I have galaxy select a watt ballasts, is it possible to run this type of bulb on those ballasts?

How is the bud size with CMH compared to HPS?
The bulb is about the same size as a 400w or 1000w MH. Much like the ones seen here: growershouse.com/hortilux-e-start-metal-halide-lamp-400w#
I got 15.75oz from myCMH630 (air-cooled) 4x4 with it being about 50/50 top bud/below top net in a 2 net scrog. Blue cheese, grown to 24" scrogged for a 12-ish" stretch.

Yes, this is much like the 315 LEC (CMH), except in a 600w version. It does have some slight differences, but it's closer to a 315 LEC than a 600w HPS.
What about the blue mh bulb that comes in the kit? When should that be used. Last 2 was? Maybe

How ridiculous are we? I want to get solar panels so I can power my grow lights to grow my plants by using the sun.OMG! Do you think grow lights could power solar panels?This could be huge.
