    McQueen gets back to the ship, and exiting his cockpit and walks back to his room; that's the moment that no words could express - all you can say to yourself is "Wow!". Few series can effectively evoke this feeling, but yet this TV series nails it here.

    You know everytime I hear that Fox is coming out with a new sci-fi series I think "Well it probably will be pretty good too bad it will only last a season or two" I honestly don't understand their reasons for even commissioning a new one.

    I still remember the adversaries name they gave it was "Chiggi-von Richthofen"... the marines considered that alien their version of the Red Baron.
    This series ended way before it's time, but this was just the beginning of FOX getting rid of all their great shows (including "Family Guy" later) in favor of what the suits at FOX wanted.

    This is one of those series that they should bring back. With the right writers, actors and updated CGI this could potentially be amazing.
    This was a science fiction series from a very different angle then most of the other shows of its time. It focussed on the lives of soldiers, and what it's like to be on the front lines of an alien war. Truly amazing and I hope one day it will get a sequel it deserves, as the war at the end of the show continued.

      so funny you're writing yesterday - i'm just learning about this show too - (mostly bc of comments about the expanse which i prefer) but this is so good! one season : 24 eps rad! It felt real campy like starship troopers in the beginning but now the characters are way developed especially for the 90s..idk. This episode tho--- holy crap (ep 16 "Angriest Angel") the last words of the ep are the best -- wish the OP put them in this vid

      It's been my long experience that the better, the more groundbreaking a show is, the less likely it is to survive more than a season or two. Industry execs are fine at pumping out nominal content, but they are completely clueless at recognizing true greatness.

    It's called centrifugal force. Something belonging to physics which also exist in space.
    The same that pilots today experience, if they do a sharp turn with high speed and thus are exposed to 5-9g, a multiple of the normal gravitation. (g=9,81 m/s²)
    In simple words: it's that, what makes your roller coaster ride enjoyable.

    • @robertlipsett2535
      @robertlipsett2535 Před 6 lety

      centrifugal force is a false force according to my physics teacher. what it actually is called is centripetal acceleration. any time you change a direction you feel acceleration force in the opposite direction of change. in a car when you step on it you move back in the seat and when you stomp the brake you head for the windshield. the faster the change the greater the force you feel which is mass times delta v which gives pounds of force acting on an object
