The Cumulative CO2 Emissions by Country Since 1882 (Carbon Dioxide Emission from Gas)

- The video shows the timelapse of the cumulative CO2 Emissions from gas by country (separated by modern regions) since 1882. Carbon dioxide (CO2) makes up the vast majority of greenhouse gas emissions from the sector, but smaller amounts of methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) are also emitted. These gases are released during the combustion of fossil fuels, such as coal, oil, and natural gas, to produce electricity.

I like how USA always tells China to reduce CO2 emission😂
because china produces the most co2 today
This is cumulative
@@malehumanersgaming4706 the USA also produces the most CO2 emissions per capita today because don’t forget we’re China is number one China also has five times the population of America.
Both countries should
@@malehumanersgaming4706 Yes, China is the largest source of pollution!
I really need the music
US is gonna destroy our planet with all those emissions
What is the name of the music?
Good video👍
Scientists always strive for emission reduction, but so many people don't want to do this. Governments, cooperations, and the people all need to be on this. Emissions have increased SHARPLY since the 50s, and the world is seeing BIGGER disasters and losing some of the cutest and most precious animals as the years go by. Everyone around the world must work together to decrease emissions!
We are still emitting because we need to as of now. Unless you want to live without electricity, meat, heat, transport and other things, as of now we can't stop.
Sure, we could reduce it but we can't entirely stop.
@@aurexify That is quite true. I wonder about the no-emission/lower-emission alternatives that exist out there for everyday activities.
@@aurexify 60% of global greenhouse gas emissions can be eliminated entirely in the span of a few years. Which is exactly what is happening right now, most developed nations have pledged to reduce their emissions by around 30%-68% depending on the nation, with UK leading at a 68% reduction pledge by 2030. The reality now is that it's simply cheaper to be more eco-friendly, renewables have been much cheaper than any fossil fuel for years at this point and governments are starting to notice by increasing renewables subsidies and themselves building new nuclear or renewable power plants. Some countries are building great infrastructure for electric cars and if the rest of the world joins in, we might cut down our emissions by another 20-30%.
So no, we don't need to be emitting. It's just that countries like the US and Australia where the government is controlled by the monopolistic overlords of the fossil fuel industry, constantly lobbying and putting pressure on politicians to not work against their interests are undermining the work of other, more democratic countries. Thankfully, that is starting to change now.
Uh...you say we can't stop? We CAN STOP, all in necessary activities and manufacturing of impractical,, frivolous products. Such as...professional sports, which, would reduce flying by a whole lot...stupid plastic ...Did you know that, on average for Super Bowls, rich people fly a out 1500 private jets to go and warch...uws..when I first became aware of this around 2012 ish ..it was 1200 that year....all manner of such enterprises such as Disney could go.....if you think of these as the frivolous, humancwnteic wasteful products of human hubris that they are...it begins to come clear..just how destructive we arem..tacking the transportation jobs issues...is a whole ' nother territory. But..there ARE EXPERTS who could put together an economy based on DEGROWTH principles ...and everyone could have a way of living ..but..it would not look anything like what we do now...however.mi am pretty damn sure this will never happen...because most people still do not understand what is happening to our biosphere ...eenewablwsa will cause an increase in MINING of around 500% ....we have already destroyed so much natural habitat...not just for other animals ..but for ourselves also...ridiculousness m
Why isn't Russia's flag on the bottom even though it's second after the US in CO2 emissions?
Thanks friend👍
i think creator forgot its from 1882 this video starts from 1950
It's also only gas
Do you have other cool ones like sulphur, nitrous oxide, methane,
At present, the so-called “environmental protection” is one of the few consensus between China and the United States. Because both countries want to develop electric vehicles and crack down on traditional automobile industries in Japan and Europe.
Not quite, the US auto market is mostly trucks, while the EU and Asian markets have few trucks. European companies are actually selling a lot more EVs than US companies.
Can you make every year per capita
Yeah
Interesting
music name?
Hey, what happened from 1882 to 1949? I want my money back!
People in the comments are missing an important detail.
These CO2 numbers are ONLY FOR GAS. Oil, coal, peat etc aren't counted here.
Natural gas is the cleanest hydrocarbon by far.
Read the video description :)
Carbon emitters and polluters should be measured per capita (per person). Every person should have the same rights and responsibilities. Otherwise, it does not make sense and totally unfair.
iceland : hold my geothermal energy,,
Drc is suprising, lower than Rwanda lol
Hey I’m early for my air
Does industrialization justify emissions ?
How 8s Iteland yellow with all those cows?
Morocco be like: What? we are low?
The thumbnail is what I call click bait
Name of song?
I can understand those industrialized countries. But what did india do to get this number?
Hardwork , ease in business and industrial laws , attractive destination for fdi
How is Ukraine 10x bigger CO2 polluter than Hungary. Are they more industrial?
It is possible as Hungary is agricultural country
Because ukraine was a major industrial centre in USSR
Vendo gráficos assim, é bem engraçado ver europeu e estadunidense vim dar pitaco sobre Amazônia e clima, hipocrisia pura.
Video says since 1882, starts on 1950, seems legit.
show me how to make videos like this
The U.S.A. are the BEST 👌 👍
More about Monkeypox
my country still orange...
Video would be better if you would have included the cumulative CO2 from Russia. Looking at the colour of this country in your video, it seems to be the second in the world since 1882.
And they blame us Indians for it.
From GAS
USA and EU: 🚗🚗🚗
And US blames asia and africa
用累积二氧化碳排放量才公平
Now everybody pays the same, the poor will suffer more as usual
Sorry, but this is pretty useless if not measured per citizen or even per square meter
🤒
LOL, USA...🤣🤣🤣
Karma is USA, Karma is a bitch
Cringy how much people get panicked by this Co2 bullshit. They'll be the first to whine when everyone will have standard of life of Nicaragua, if green crazyness go on... 🙄
yahhh USA number 1 baby ow wait....
Well, India needs to get a prize on this. Even after having a population close to China's it produces 2 times less CO2. And US... [Coughs]
Lol. That is literally the direct result of India’s underdevelopment and poverty. 😅 the country isn’t even industrializing in any meaningful way at this moment.
Have u no awareness about India’s terrifying pollution issue??? Again, the country isn’t even industrializing yet. You don’t even have a harsh winter in which coal are burnt for heating/heating systems like Mongolia or northern China. What will the situation even look like when the country does industrialize???
You wanna a prize? I will give u a 30/100, a straight F as score.
China economy in another level that why they're producing more Co2
@@nehcooahnait7827 soo wrong except the pollution part
China is shit
@@folklore9062 not really, india isn’t cool or industrialised and yet they already produced this much, not something to be proud of and certainly doesn’t spell good for the future.

No one in the real world actually cares.
Cringe "kengo" is back.
Here is a question. How can China realize so-called “carbon neutrality “ in 2060?
Innovate like what China is doing and stop building coal plants
They are the biggest investors on renewable energy like solar and wind
今天楼主又是装外宾的一天
only by total but now whos emitting the most carbon? china.
India should emitting more, India have such huge amount of population, but such little emission doesnt make much of sense, unless India doesnt have much Industry
China is the one developing the most for the last two decades. It is like the USA a century ago. Besides that, they also have 5 times the current population of the US. They are also heavily investing on renewable sources. So yeah, they have a lot to contribute to change the current situation but it is not as if its their fault
Funny how you say "who" because on a per capita basis the average american person produces 2X the co2 emissions than a chinese person
@@dy5066 Dumbass if you were smart you'd know this isn't counting every single thing that also can emit CO2
The CO2 you emitted 100 years ago is still in the atmosphere it doesn't magically disappear
India is the future of the world. India will lead the world to a better future!

China low than usa?? Where u take this wrong data… 😂😂😂😂
Also india is third.
Do you know what cumulative means?
@@henry6431 yeah check all data
It says emission from gas even if you count per year USA is much higher than China
Is cumulative CO2 emissions which means total amount of CO2 read the title
@@energyhyd3796 its is TOTAL emission in last 40YEARS , at starting china and India emit less compared to usa.
*This is not wrong data.*
*Read video title, its clearly written 'Since 1882'*
